What's covered on the AQA A-Level Biology exam?

The AQA A-Level Biology exam covers eight topics including Biological molecules, Cells, Organisms exchange substances with their environment, Genetic information, variation and relationships between organisms, Energy transfers in and between organisms, Organisms respond to changes in their internal and external environments, Genetics, populations, evolution and ecosystems, and The control of gene expression.

How long is the AQA A-Level Biology exam?

There are three papers that students need to sit, all lasting 2 hours. Paper 1 consists of a mixture of short and long answer questions, and extended response questions and has a weighting of 35%. Paper 2 consists of a mixture of short and long answer questions and a comprehension question and is also weighted at 35%. Paper 3 is weighted at 30% and comprises of structured questions, including practical techniques, critical analysis of given experimental data and one essay from a choice of two titles.

How can I revise using AQA A-Level Biology revision notes?

The most important thing to remember when revising is to actively read your notes to make sure you are internalising the information!
