Tutor Profile: Hello, I’m Mohammad Eisa Ali, a friendly and approachable tutor currently in my fifth year studying Medicine & Surgery and one of top tutors here in MedicMind. I completed my pre-clinical year of MBBS/MBChB at King’s College London before transferring to Italy to complete my Master in Medicine & Surgery (MD) for my remaining clinical studies. I remember how daunting and challenging the UCAS application procedure was while applying under strict deadlines and achieving excellent scores. Through this platform, I have prepared over a many thousand students, mainly for Medicine (including Oxbridge students), to fulfill their dreams. I received 6A*, 4A, 2B, and 1 Distinction* in my GCSEs, and A*A*A*A* in A-level Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics, A-level Language respectively, with an A* in EPQ. After completing my A-levels, I took a gap year to explore, travel abroad, and work as a full-time tutor. Later, I sat the UCAT and was ranked in the top 5% of the entire cohort. I received interviews from all four medical universities and offers from three medical schools. Currently, I am a medical student assistant, where I teach 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-year students by conducting clinical workshops on ALS, BLSD etc, webinars, and medical tutoring lectures outside professor’s lecture hours. I had the privilege of assisting with the interview process for medical school and contributing to the creation of regulations for the upcoming academic year as a member of the student didactic council.

I also sat the BMAT and scored exceptionally well with an average of 6.5. As a medical student, I have delivered tutoring sessions for various platforms for over six years, with thousands of hours of teaching experience. I have worked with different medical schools, such as Manchester Access Programme MAP and Soton BM6, as a medical mentor to guide students for UCAT, BMAT, and interviews. I also have experience in delivering tutoring for IMAT, MDCAT, ETEA, and HPAT as I sat them during my A-level period to secure my place at medical school abroad in EU countries and abroad as a backup.

Hi there! My name is Grace and I have just finished a French Literature MSt at Keble College, Oxford, for which I received a Distinction. I also completed
a History and French BA for my undergraduate at Somerville College, Oxford and got a First Class. I’ve been tutoring for several years now so I have lots of experience, and I really enjoy being able to help students wherever I can. I’ve always put my academic studies first, and I know how important it is to do your best in exams; I find it extremely rewarding when I can help students to achieve this. Having got all A*s in GCSE and A-Level, and successfully passed through Oxford’s rigorous admissions process, I know first-hand what is required to do well at all of these stages. Hi there, my name is Ronan Goss and I am a recent 1st class land economy graduate at the university of Cambridge. Since I was 16 I have tutored various students in a range of subjects and levels, including mathematics, business and economics. Since then I have worked with a range of students for both GCSE and A-level, and I can work with exam boards such as Edexcel, AQA, IB, and WJEC. More recently I have tutored 8 students who have applied to Land Economy at Cambridge, assisting in personal statement writing, admission tests, and interview preparation. Some of these students have started or will be starting at Cambridge, with many others securing places at the UK’s most prestigious universities.

In my spare time I love to travel, and I am currently living in and around Portugal tutoring remotely. After travelling I have an offer to join a leading consulting firm based in the UK.

I recently graduated with a Masters in Global and Imperial History from the University of Oxford in June 2023 after having completed my Bachelors in History from Oxford in June 2022. At university, I was involved with various student societies, most recently having completed my term as Editor-in-Chief of the Oxford Review of Books. Currently on a gap year, I am looking forward to tutoring students interested in academic study at Oxford or Cambridge, with a particular focus on the Humanities. I would love to hear from students who require extra help with school or academic work. Equally, I would be happy to provide ‘liberal arts’ tutoring for students interested in the Humanities that goes beyond the limits of a school curriculum and introduces them to the vast diversity of subjects and skills that the Humanities has to offer. This knowledge can be especially useful for students while writing EPQs or other forms of coursework as well as providing a good foundation before embarking on undergraduate study.

Hi ! My name is Ella and i’m currently a vet student at The Royal Veterinary College, London. I previously studied the gateway to Veterinary medicine course at RVC so have had an extra year of learning and experience at the university. Although I can understand and have been through the stress and anxiety of applying to vet school, I want to help and allow you to turn that around and really enjoy and get the most out of your interviews and application the same way I did ! I also used medic mind to be able to achieve where I am today and since then have helped others with their vet application so know all the tips and tricks to help you get into the university you want. In relevance to the veterinary medicine application process, I have worked very hard and did most of the research of the application process myself. With my experience I want to give everyone who wants and deserves it the opportunity to study veterinary medicine.

I received my early education in Kent, studying at Tonbridge School where I achieved 7 A*’s and 3 A’s at GCSE level. I then went on to study my A levels, I chose Pre-U art, Mathematics, Geography, and Physics where i achieved A*,A*,A*, B respectively. I applied to study Architecture at Cambridge, UCL, Sheffield, and Lancaster. I was successful in all my applications but in the end, I chose Cambridge.

During my time at university, I engaged well with my academic studies as well as extra-curricular activities. To name one, I found a passion in rowing which taught me a great deal about leadership and working as a team. During the breaks between terms, I had the chance to work in a small architectural firm in London which gave me invaluable experience. Even getting the chance to design a real project on my own.

I have now completed my undergraduate degree in Architecture at Cambridge where I achieved a 2, 1. I am now looking to join the working world for the next two years, after which I will return to my studies for a Masters in Architecture. More specifically I am intent on gathering a variety of work experience, and tutoring is an integral part of this.
