Hi there, my name is Ronan Goss and I am a recent 1st class land economy graduate at the university of Cambridge. Since I was 16 I have tutored various students in a range of subjects and levels, including mathematics and economics. More recently I have tutored 8 students who have applied to Land Economy at Cambridge, assisting in personal statement writing, admission tests, and interview preparation. Some of these students have started or will be starting at Cambridge, with many others securing places at the UK’s most prestigious universities.

In my spare time I love to travel, and I am currently living in and around Portugal tutoring remotely. After travelling I have an offer to join a leading consulting firm based in the UK.

Hi, I am Ekansh, a second-year Medical student studying at St. George’s, University of London. I am quite experienced with tutoring, and as someone who is a recent school leaver, I am also well acquainted with teaching these concepts to fellow peers back when I was still in school.

I have scored well in both GCSEs/IGCSEs (8 A*s) and in IB (43 points), as well as getting 97th percentile (3040) in the UCAT when I sat it during the 2021 session. I am also somebody who received all interview offers as an international applicant applying to the UK, and managed to secure 4 offers for medicine at Newcastle. St. George’s, University of London, UCLAN and Brunel.

I am someone who is very approachable, as I believe that this is a key quality that a teacher must showcase to their students, in order to foster a better relationship between them. In doing so, students can easily ask any doubts and clarify any ideas that they may have trouble understanding, or any external affairs that may be bothering them.

Additionally, I believe that my own personal successes during my time at school came from having approachable and reliable teachers, as well as peers, that were there to support me every step of the way, which included and was not just limited to the subject content that they were responsible for teaching. In doing so, they went above and beyond their duties and really helped foster a safe and nurturing environment for me to progress with my education, which I hope to do with my students as well.

Hi! My name is Afreen and I just started my third year at Aston University. I completed the CBSE curriculum until grade 10 after which I switched to the IB Diploma Programme for my final two years of school. I also did and International Foundation Programme for Medicine prior to applying for medicine at Aston University and UCLan. All of these experiences tested my resilience to pursue a degree in medicine and I understand first hand the lack of motivation one might face in the process of applying to medicine.

When studying IB, I really enjoyed Psychology, Spanish and English aside from Biology as well as doing other activities such as volunteering. IB also teaches you a lot about time management and improving your work-life balance which is essential in navigating medical school.

A career in the medical field requires a lot of patience and determination; I, myself have questioned my capabilities multiple times which is why I would like to help as many students as I can in pursuing their dream 🙂

I am a graduate of King’s College London, with a degree in Critical Theory. Sociology and social philosophy, as well as literature and film, formed major parts of my academic research at university. I am a keen, critically-oriented tutor, eager to interact with a breadth of students. Education is the only space where a wealth of ideas may circulate amongst people with no inherent hierarchy, and I want to channel this potential into productive, progressive goals. Hi ! My name is Ella and i’m currently a vet student at The Royal Veterinary College, London. I previously studied the gateway to Veterinary medicine course at RVC so have had an extra year of learning and experience at the university. Although I can understand and have been through the stress and anxiety of applying to vet school, I want to help and allow you to turn that around and really enjoy and get the most out of your interviews and application the same way I did ! I also used medic mind to be able to achieve where I am today and since then have helped others with their vet application so know all the tips and tricks to help you get into the university you want. In relevance to the veterinary medicine application process, I have worked very hard and did most of the research of the application process myself. With my experience I want to give everyone who wants and deserves it the opportunity to study veterinary medicine.

I received my early education in Kent, studying at Tonbridge School where I achieved 7 A*’s and 3 A’s at GCSE level. I then went on to study my A levels, I chose Pre-U art, Mathematics, Geography, and Physics where i achieved A*,A*,A*, B respectively. I applied to study Architecture at Cambridge, UCL, Sheffield, and Lancaster. I was successful in all my applications but in the end, I chose Cambridge.

During my time at university, I engaged well with my academic studies as well as extra-curricular activities. To name one, I found a passion in rowing which taught me a great deal about leadership and working as a team. During the breaks between terms, I had the chance to work in a small architectural firm in London which gave me invaluable experience. Even getting the chance to design a real project on my own.

I have now completed my undergraduate degree in Architecture at Cambridge where I achieved a 2, 1. I am now looking to join the working world for the next two years, after which I will return to my studies for a Masters in Architecture. More specifically I am intent on gathering a variety of work experience, and tutoring is an integral part of this.

I specialise as a tutor who provides support in Cambridge Architecture admissions. I can adapt my tuition to a variety of subjects and interests, which is integral to distinguishing a candidate from the competition. I am well versed in the strategies employed by Cambridge interviewers that can throw off many candidates, and understand exactly what they are looking for in a student.
