14About Me
Hi ! My name is Ella and i’m currently a 4th year vet student at The Royal Veterinary College, London. I previously studied the gateway to Veterinary medicine course at RVC so have had an extra year of learning and experience at the university. Although I can understand and have been through the stress and anxiety of applying to vet school, I want to help and allow you to turn that around and really enjoy and get the most out of your interviews and application the same way I did! I also used medic mind to be able to achieve where I am today and since then have helped others with their vet application so know all the tips and tricks to help you get into the university you want. In relevance to the veterinary medicine application process, I have worked very hard and even now have a published book on how to get into veterinary medicine! With my experience I want to give everyone who wants and deserves it the opportunity to study veterinary medicine.
My teaching style
I tend to think of all possible options in relating to what your question or what your subject area is. I don’t believe that your question should just be why, I will push you to consider what, when, how and most importantly what may others think? This helps not only you to understand the content or question but gives you the ability and confidence to educate others!
My past experience
For medic mind, I have completed a vet interview booklet which gives candidates top tips and tricks into gaining success for an interview. Writing this booklet has allowed me to be even more confident in running through all the stages of getting you into your desired vet school.
I have now been tutoring for 4 years and have had multiple successful students gain their sport on their course. Outside of 1-1 tutoring, I have also published a book titled “Master the Vet Interview -Get into Veterinary School”. This is something I am beyond proud of and can’t wait to share my behind the scense wisdom with you!
My Proudest Achievements
In my secondary school and sixth form I am the only student to successfully receive the offers and grades to study veterinary medicine. An achievement which I am grateful to have and thus want others to follow in my footsteps. Getting students their deserved spot on any veterinary medicine course no matter their background or hurdles they have endured to overcome, is something I will always strive to achieve.
