Hi, my name is Arun and I am currently a 4th year medical student at Sheffield University intercalating in a clinical research project. I completed my A-levels, UCAT, and medical interviews in 2020. I had 4 interviews and received offers from all four. I am a well-experienced tutor having completed over 1500 hours of tutoring with Medic Mind in a range of topics, from GCSEs and A-Levels to UCAT and interviews as well as university consultations
I was one of the few students to undertake the A-level exams in November 2020 after my exams were cancelled due to Coronavirus. I am dyslexic so I have weird and wonderful ways to remember critical information and I hope I can support prospective doctors (dyslexic or non) to achieve their dream of becoming a medical professional.
I was not labelled as your typical medical student by my school. I continued to persevere until I reached the goal that I set for myself, with the help of my family.
I hope we can work well together and achieve what you want, just like I did. 🙂
I’m Charlotte, a Masters student at the University of Cambridge (Physical Natural Sciences), and I would love to help you achieve your academic potential! With a proven track record of academic excellence at GCSE, and A level (4 A*) I have maintained a wide scope of discipline whilst at university. Before finding a passion for History and Philosophy of Science this year, I have previously taken university modules in Mathematics, Physics, Materials Science and Earth Sciences, making full use of the diversity the Cambridge Natural Sciences course provides. With over 5 years tutoring experience in the sciences and maths, I have developed an enthusiastic and positive approach to help you achieve your potential. I’m a strong believer in practice exam questions as the key to success, so not only will I deal with the challenging concepts of the syllabus with clarity but teach you how to best apply this knowledge to an exam situation. I am unique in that as a Cambridge Organ Scholar I was able to apply to both Oxford and Cambridge, and thus have gone through the preparations for entrance exams and interviews for both institutions, before receiving an unconditional offer from Cambridge. This means I’m highly equipped to tutor both the NSAA and the PAT, as well as skilled at helping you to master the environment of the Oxbridge interview. I’m confident, concise, and committed to helping you achieve your fullest potential in your chosen academic avenue.
With over eight years of experience as a fully qualified teacher—including roles as Music Subject Lead and Maths—I am passionate about making learning engaging, accessible, and fun. My mission is to build confidence and instil a love for learning, especially in those who find maths or music difficult. Recognised with a Highly Commended Award for Pearson’s National Teacher of the Year in a secondary school (2022), I take pride in delivering tailored, supportive lessons that truly make a difference.
Prior to my teaching career, I travelled to the UK from Australia with a full University Scholarship to study music. I was fortunate to perform with some of the best Brass Bands in the world, traveling on tour with them all over the world. Having achieved the prestigious Harry Mortimer Performance Prize, and winner the British Cornet Solo Championships, I continued my journey by serving in the British Army as a professional trumpeter in the Coldstream Guards Scots Guards Band. It was here where I found the love of teaching. Following my Military career, I became a fully trained Music teacher and experienced 8+ years teaching in a variety of education settings such as Primary, Secondary and SEN/D schools. Throughout this time, I developed a passion for teaching Maths and working with learners who are SEN, Neurodiverse, anxious and lacking in confidence. Having struggled with Maths as a school student, I was driven to making Maths more fun, exciting, enjoyable and accessible – being the teacher I always needed! I am now delving into the world of tutoring where I can reach more learners that need me.
“My daughter absolutely adores the way Steph delivers the learning as it’s fun, and she finally understands Maths in a way that makes sense to her. I have never seen her so engaged & focused! What a positive experience.” – Parent Testimonial, January 2025.

I am a dedicated and experienced tutor with a passion for empowering children and adults with special educational needs (SEN) and neurodivergent conditions to discover the joy in learning.
I’m skilled at creating bespoke, inclusive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and individual needs, and strive to create a positive, uplifting atmosphere during my sessions that promote a positive attitude towards learning.
I have a person-centred approach, and focus on the interests and needs of my students, finding what works best for them and using these avenues to facilitate learning.
Beyond tutoring, I am a professional musician, with vast experience in the create industry. I have a passion for all things history, nature, sci-fi and fantasy, and find these interests often overlap with my students and help us create strong bonds that enrich the learning experience.
I am an experienced tutor who aims to make learning fun and rewarding. I started tutoring while I was studying my degree and discovered that I loved it! After completing my degree, I started tutoring privately and then joined tutoring companies such as Explore Learning and Catch Up Academy.
I tutor English, math and science from KS1 up to KS3 in person and online. I also tutor 11+ (GL and CEM) and GCSE Maths where I work to prepare students for the exams. I specialise in tutoring people who have SENDs needs or require to be home schooled. I will ensure that the student’s needs are met during the sessions and I am flexible when it comes to tutoring. I can also support you with developing coping strategies, build confidence or finding different approaches when it comes to learning or taking exams.
My goal to provide a safe and encouraging learning environment where the student has accomplished their goal by the end of the session. I will also support students to build their confidence, learn from mistakes and to apply their knowledge. I will always provide feedback at the end of every session so the student is kept up to date on what they’ve accomplished.
Hello there, my name is Esin and I study Experimental Psychology at the University of Oxford. My degree is like any other Psychology degree, but with the added focus towards experimental design, statistics, and data analysis. In preparation for this degree, I took Biology, Maths, and Chemistry at school, as well as Psychology, to supplement my ability to interpret and produce scientific writing.
Additionally, the Oxbridge application process is a distinct and memorable one, with interview styles being updated year to year. As a current Oxford student, I bring the advantage of having very recently gone through the application process myself and having friends in many different departments and degrees that can offer insights from their own recent experience.
Besides my scientific and academic interests, I also play piano and took Music Theory in adherence to the ABRSM curriculum. I would be very happy to tutor in the area of Psychology and Human Sciences, Oxbridge applications, or music.
Thank you for considering me for tutoring. I hope I can be of help by offering my skills and experience.

Hi! I’m Isla, I’m 18 years old and a 1st year student at the University of Glasgow studying history and politics as a joint degree. I have always been passionate about these topics and would love to help people engage with them just as I did. I am friendly and supportive and always try to make content understandable and interesting. I achieved all A’s in my Nat 5’s and have 5 A’s at a higher level alongside 2 B’s at higher and an A and B at an advanced higher level. I am hugely passionate about written subjects and find them highly important in people’s development. I am also interested in music and perform frequently both with and without my guitar. I have been playing guitar since I was 9 and have been dedicated to it ever since. I love helping people learn and hope that through this I can help more people love the subjects as much as I do.
I am a human biology student with a passion for the intricacies of the human body, whether it is in high-performance sport, cognition, or epidemiology.
I have as much of an interest in anatomy as I do in healthcare, and have extensive connections in both areas.
I am very academically well-rounded; as well as biology I have a breadth of knowledge in English literature (both classical and contemporary), and an in-depth understanding of music theory, performance, and history.
I am passionate about learning and encouraging a lifelong love of learning; not just the ability to memorise but the ability to understand, apply, and use knowledge to challenge or uphold conventions.
Outside of academia I love to be outdoors; I run (a nationally successful UK ‘fell’ (mountain) runner), swim, cycle, and walk. I love listening to music, live and at home, and play in bands locally.
