27About Me
I am a dedicated and experienced tutor with a passion for empowering children and adults with special educational needs (SEN) and neurodivergent conditions to discover the joy in learning.
I’m skilled at creating bespoke, inclusive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and individual needs, and strive to create a positive, uplifting atmosphere during my sessions that promote a positive attitude towards learning.
I have a person-centred approach, and focus on the interests and needs of my students, finding what works best for them and using these avenues to facilitate learning.
Beyond tutoring, I am a professional musician, with vast experience in the create industry. I have a passion for all things history, nature, sci-fi and fantasy, and find these interests often overlap with my students and help us create strong bonds that enrich the learning experience.
My teaching style
I’m known for fostering a supportive, patient, and encouraging environment that builds students’ confidence, promotes self-expression, and nurtures lifelong skills, no matter their starting point. I’m experienced in delivering sessions centred around THRIVE methodologies and have Level 2 Safeguarding and Level 2 in Understanding Autism qualifications, with an educational background in music technology.

With a 10-year teaching track record, I have extensive experience in both instrumental tuition and SEN support.
My Proudest Achievements
I have had great success throughout my career working with vulnerable young people, helping them gain the confidence and life skills to express themselves fully and work to their full potential.
