Hi, my name is Arun and I am currently a 5th year medical student at Sheffield University. I had 4 interviews and received offers from all four. I am a well-experienced tutor having completed over 2000 hours of tutoring in a range of topics, from GCSEs and A-Levels to UCAT and interviews as well as university consultations

I was one of the few students to undertake the A-level exams in November 2020 after my exams were cancelled due to Coronavirus. I am dyslexic so I have weird and wonderful ways to remember critical information and I hope I can support prospective doctors (dyslexic or non) to achieve their dream of becoming a medical professional.

I was not labelled as your typical medical student by my school. I continued to persevere until I reached the goal that I set for myself, with the help of my family.

With a proven track record of academic excellence at GCSE, and A level (4 A*) I have maintained a wide scope of discipline whilst at university. Before finding a passion for History and Philosophy of Science this year, I have previously taken university modules in Mathematics, Physics, Materials Science and Earth Sciences, making full use of the diversity the Cambridge Natural Sciences course provides. I achieved top grades in Oxford across a broad range of topics, including Analysis & Criticism, Composition, SCART (stylistic composition), Performance, and Special Topics (music historiography). I am a flautist by trade, formerly the Principal Flute of Oxford Festival Orchestra and a side-by-side alumnus of the professional Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra. I am regularly booked as a concert soloist by 50+ venues, many of which involve taking music into community. I am also a freelance composer and arranger: several of my works have been performed in concert and I work regularly with Warner Music UK as a choir arranger.

Outside of music, I am completing a postgraduate conversion course in Law and will begin as a Trainee Solicitor at a Music and Media specialist law firm in October 2026. Contrary to the popular myth, there really are many interesting and varied careers that a Music degree can lead you towards!

I started learning the piano when I was six and ever since then I have either been learning, performing or teaching music – and for the past ten years it’s been all three!

I studied musical performance at college, then obtained a degree in ethnomusicology, all while working as a touring musician.

Using fun and creative learning techniques, you can expect to improve your technical playing ability, gain an understanding of musical theory, develop skills in musical performance and ready yourself for collaborative musicianship if that’s what you want.

I always had the most fun and engaged the most when I was learning the songs I liked at the time. I didn’t particularly like how music was taught at my school or doing grades but I would write songs on the guitar every night and teach myself my favourite songs by ear.

Hello, my name is Hana and I am a first-year medical student at Imperial College London.

I would love to be your tutor to guide you through the medicine application process or support you with your school subjects!

I remember finding the application process tricky and overwhelming so I would love to share my experience and help make things easier- whether it be through admission tests, personal statements, selecting medical schools or preparing for interviews.

Since I was young, I have always been passionate with school subjects, especially sciences and maths. I have been enjoying medical school, and I love to share my passion for academics to help you understand and get a grasp at the tricky content and improve your exam technique! I can teach biology, chemistry and maths up to A level and physics up to GCSE.

In my free time, I play the piano and violin in my university orchestra. I also enjoy staying active by going to the gym or dancing. I love going out with my friends and exploring London- it has definitely been a big change to growing up in a small village in Leicestershire!

I am a violinist, music producer, composer and arranger. I started learning the violin in 2011 and I have since made significant progress in my musicality with over 13 years of training and leadership roles as Concertmaster in school orchestras. I have been composing since 2021 and specialise in the Classical genre while also working on other, more modern genres of music.

I have written and arranged multiple musical pieces for various instruments, numerous of which are on platforms like IMSLP and MuseScore. I also oversee creative work in my own music and multimedia community known as Evans Chou Studios, leading a team in music production, content creation and event planning, increasing community engagement. In this community, I have worked with other musicians to deliver multiple festive events, attracting audiences of up to 100 participants.
