My name is Non and currently I am a first year undergraduate at the University of Oxford reading French. I have a keen interest in academia and learning, and I would like to help others to further their own educational journey. I achieved the highest grades in all of my GCSE’s which include Geography, French and History, as well as 4 A*’s in my A-Levels. I am incredibly familiar with the WJEC and AQA exam boards, especially CBAC, and I offer tutoring lessons through the medium of both Welsh and English. I tutor Mathematics, Welsh and French up to a GCSE standard, and offer French to an A-Level standard. On top of this, I can also tutor up to KS3 in English and Welsh to improve reading and communication skills. I have a flexible schedule and my availability includes most evenings and every weekend.
Helo / Hello! I am Anna – a student studying Education and Psychology at the University of Cambridge. I am from Cardiff, and attended a state high school before being admitted to Cambridge. I always enjoyed studying, and quickly learnt the value of teaching. This is partially why I wanted to study the philosophies and debates around education and its policies. Since my own GCSEs I have gotten involved in tutoring – at that time in Welsh, Maths, and English, and have since done a wider span of KS3/4/5 and Personal Statement/Interview tutoring too. I thoroughly enjoy both sides of tutoring – both providing support to an individual looking to improve their knowledge AND the personal rewards of adapting to different learning styles and student preferences. I hope that this shines through in my teaching style 🙂 Looking forward to meeting you!

Hi, I’m Nathan and I’m currently doing my 2nd year at the University of Sheffield studying English Language and Linguistics with Advanced Catalan. My research interests include Welsh bilingualism, historical linguistics, and romance linguistics. I have been tutoring for a couple of years and have taught multiple subjects including English (for UK students and for second language students), Spanish (GCSE & A-Level), and Welsh (all learners). I can teach beginners’ Catalan as I study B2 Catalan as a part of my degree. I love EVERYTHING to do with languages, I’m neurodivergent so it has been one of my special interests for most of my life. I have previously studied Welsh sociolinguistics at Prifysgol Bangor University for a few months and studied it through the medium of Welsh, so I speak Welsh fluently. I also studied French for A-Level so I can help with that but I prefer to tutor A-Level Spanish students.
Shwmae, Shane dw i. I am a seasoned Welsh tutor with extensive experience in instructing numerous students in the Welsh language. My tutoring journey commenced during the Covid pandemic, and I have since witnessed many students thrive and reach their Welsh language objectives. After completing the Welsh for Adults course and advancing my studies to a degree level, I am now eager to share my expertise with other learners.
It doesn’t matter what your level, it is possible for anyone to learn Welsh. Not only have I experience in teaching Welsh, but I’ve also worked for New Directions, and agency that have placed me as a cover supervisor in a number of Welsh-medium schools throughout Wales supporting schools during the leave of their teaching staff. I am committed to teaching Welsh and making Cymraeg 2050 happen.
Hi! I’m a final year Dental student at the University of Manchester 🙂 I’ve had lots of experience in tutoring students and prospective students one on one, reviewing personal statements (even if they’re for different courses or courses that are slightly related – e.g. Medicine!), and I’ve provided a lot of Q&A sessions for how I got into Uni and how I got 4/4 of my offers.
I received offers from King’s College London, Queen Mary College, Cardiff University, and the University of Manchester. I come from a socioeconomically deprived area, so I understand how it feels to be in competition for a University spot against others with better luck of the draw. I also have ADHD so I know how it feels to be a neurodivergent student and require slightly different styles and modes of teaching and concentration.
I love working with people and helping them – it’s part of why I want to go into Dentistry! I’d love for a chance to tutor even more people and make sure they’re receiving the best quality education and top personal tips for getting into Uni. Since I’ve worked as a Student Ambassador at UoM, I’ve also received “inside info” on how to ace your interview, and going through so many interviews myself as both the interviewee and the interviewer has given me a lot of experience so I can share all my knowledge with you!
