4About Me
Hello,
My name is Tori. I am a qualified primary school teacher in Wales (UK) with 6 years experience of working in schools.
My strong points are mathematics and science but I can also teach English and Welsh language to a high level.
I have tutored pupils to successfully pass their GCSE Math exams.
My experience ranges from working with children aged 3 up to 16.
I like to get to know my students, what their strengths and weaknesses are and how best to support them. Each child that I have worked with has had a different experience reflecting their personal needs.
I like to keep my lessons up beat with plenty of communication and a clear progression route.
As well as teaching and tutoring, I work as a gymnastics coach and judge.
In my spare time, I love training for and completing triathlon’s.
My teaching style
I am able to adapt my teaching style to suite different needs. This is one of my strengths as I know that not one teaching style suits all. I am very keen to use a pupil led approach to encourage pupils to feel included in what they are learning.
My Proudest Achievements
Completing my PGCE and becoming a qualified teacher was a very proud moment for me. Since then, my career in teaching and tutoring continues to provide me with proud moments such as pupils gaining confidence and showing progress.
