I am a passionate and highly driven tutor, who is willing to teach a range of subjects. I achieved a 2:1 with Honours in a BSc Biomedical Science degree, Distinction in MSc Molecular Biology. I am currently studying Medicine at a Buckingham university. My interest in speciality is cardio-thoracic surgery!

Teaching students and making each one of them excel is my number one priority on my list always! I love to support them in any way possible. Education in my view is not about giving the students the right answers, but about helping them to gain the confidence to reach the right answers themselves. My name is Kathryn and I am originally from Toronto, Canada. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences at Queen’s University in Canada and went on to complete my Master’s in Biomedical and Molecular Sciences also at Queen’s. My Master’s focused on cardiovascular research, which is a field that I will continue to pursue as an academic doctor as part of the Cambridge Academic Foundation Programme. Apart from medicine, I really enjoy the outdoors, cycling, and traveling. I also love trying new foods! As someone who didn’t have these supports growing up, I really want to give back and help other students navigate their way through medicine. Hi, I’m Holly! I am a recent graduate from the University of Cambridge, having read Education, Psychology & Learning for my Bachelors degree. I pride myself on my organised, positive, and motivated attitude to tutoring. Hi! I’m Eleanor and I’m in my third year of studying Experimental Psychology at the University of Oxford. I’m from Newcastle in the North East of England and I completed my A-Levels in Psychology, Mathematics and History at a state school. I started tutoring whilst in my second year of Sixth form for a family friend, before starting online in my first year of uni.

Hello, I’m Marishka!

I’m currently a second-year student studying for a BSc in science and majoring in neuroscience and anatomy at the University of New South Wales in Australia. I plan to graduate by 2027 and further my academic career by attending medical school to pursue my passion for becoming a doctor in the neurology or psychiatry department.

In 2023, I graduated high school at a British International School in Abu Dhabi, where I completed the IGCSE and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme. During the IB, I took Higher Level Biology, Chemistry, English and Standard Level Psychology, Maths AI, and Spanish AB Initio.

I love anything and everything science-related, whether it be natural or social science, I am passionate about learning more about it while also sharing my knowledge about science-related topics with others. Other than science, I am also passionate about English literature; throughout high school, I enjoyed analysing works of literature, such as novels by Agatha Christie or poems by Maya Angelou. Recently, I have been really into Japanese literature and have been reading a range of Japanese literature books by Toshikazu Kawaguchi.
