2About Me
Hi my name is Esha!
I am currently an MSc Health Psychology student at Sheffield Hallam University. I graduated at Newcastle University this summer with 2:1 Psychology BSc degree.
I have studied Psychology, Sociology and Biology A-Levels and 10 GCSEs. I am tutoring in A-Level Sociology and A-Level Psychology. I am passionate about sharing knowledge and committed to providing tailored tutoring to each of my students to suit their needs.
I am also an avid volunteer for young people, working to get their voices heard and needs met. I have specialised in mental health and currently am volunteering to mentor young people. I have worked with and have personal experience of young people with Autism, ADHD and understand the individual differences a young person make have.
I believe it is important to listen to my students and tailor to them, ensuring they have a safe space where they can learn and grow, without feeling afraid to make mistakes.
My teaching style
I tutor my students differently to suit their specific needs. I am open to feedback, to ensure my teaching is helpful to my students and whether they need any additional support. I have clear structures for lessons alongside some flexibility to ensure time and space for each student.
My past experience
I have previous experience tutoring individuals with various needs, ensuring to keep them engaged and providing a positive learning environment where they are not afraid to make mistakes or ask questions.
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievements are getting into my chosen Universities despite being impacted by the pandemic and continuing to strive towards achievement no matter what difficulty I was faced with. I am also proud of all the volunteering I have done for young people, getting their voices heard and striving for their mental health.
