Shivangi
About Me
Hi, I’m Shivangi, a 2nd year medical student at the University of Sheffield. My journey to medicine was tough and I can only imagine how many aspiring medics there are out there and if there’s something I wouldn’t mind having when I applied, it would have to be a little bit of encouragement and support throughout it all. I’ll be here to help you in whatever stage you’re in and push you to get those scores, interviews, offers and grades.
I like to incorporate real-world examples and applications into my lessons to help you see the relevance and practicality of what you’ll be going on to learn. My goal as a tutor is to help you build confidence in your abilities and be able to achieve the best you can. Feel free to ask me any questions if you’re struggling, or just to find out more about what being a medical student is really like.
My teaching style
I like to start by encouraging students to tell me what they know, pinpoint problem areas and focus on them while going through them step by step to make sure they have a full understanding of a topic.
My Proudest Achievements
One of my proudest achievement was getting my UCAT score after knowing how hard I’d worked for it. Seeing it pay off was really rewarding to me.
