Hi ! My name is Ella and i’m currently a 4th year vet student at The Royal Veterinary College, London. I previously studied the gateway to Veterinary medicine course at RVC so have had an extra year of learning and experience at the university. Although I can understand and have been through the stress and anxiety of applying to vet school, I want to help and allow you to turn that around and really enjoy and get the most out of your interviews and application the same way I did! I also used medic mind to be able to achieve where I am today and since then have helped others with their vet application so know all the tips and tricks to help you get into the university you want. In relevance to the veterinary medicine application process, I have worked very hard and even now have a published book on how to get into veterinary medicine! With my experience I want to give everyone who wants and deserves it the opportunity to study veterinary medicine.
My name is Jack and I am a Veterinary Medicine student at the Royal Veterinary College, London. As a result of my UCAS application I was fortunate to have been offered places to study Veterinary Medicine at the University of Liverpool, University of Bristol and the Royal Veterinary College. Additionally, I was offered a place on the MSci Applied Bioveterinary Research course at the RVC and on the Biological and Biomedical Sciences course in Trinity College Dublin. Resulting from this, I have a deep insight into personal statement writing, university admissions tests as well as both MMI and panel style interviews.
I sat my Leaving Certificate (A Levels) in 2022 and achieved A*,A*,A*,A in Biology, Chemistry, English and Mathematics. An intrinsic component which I integrated into my application to vet schools was an emphasis on veterinary work experience. I gained over 1200 hrs of veterinary experience across a plethora of settings, the benefits of which I feel I can share with those I tutor. Further to this, I would love to help students build up their work experience portfolios whilst integrating this information into an eye-catching and unique personal statement which exudes a passion for studying Veterinary Medicine.
Applying to study Veterinary Medicine can often be a daunting endeavour, however I feel that with the right guidance, this process can be one which is enjoyable whilst providing you with insight into your future career.
Hi I’m Amy! I’m a 5th year vet student at the University of Surrey and I love teaching.
I’ve been a mentor for the university for 4 years and have helped plenty of students gain entry into vet school – I absolutely love working with the younger generations. Through this role I have designed and lead sessions, led other ambassadors on activities such as residential summer schools, taught students about university life and key life skills and tutored in GCSE and Alevel science, maths and history. This has been for students from Year 13 all the way to Year 5.
I’m hoping to go into an equine surgery internship as a career after vet school and I would love to lecture and teach in some capacity as well.
In my part time I like spending time with the friends, my dogs and I’ve recently started playing Lacrosse.

Hi there! I’m Erin, a final-year vet student at the University of Nottingham. Ever since I was in primary school I had always dreamed of one day becoming a vet, and now that I’m here fulfilling my goals, I’m keen to support other applicants through their journey to vet school! I have lots of experience mentoring students through the application process (most of whom have gone on to be successful in securing vet school offers), from supporting students with personal statement writing, interview preparation, and paneling mock interviews myself.
I’m incredibly passionate about supporting students through their application to vet school since I’m from a widening participation background, and during my own application process had to figure everything out for myself since I didn’t know anybody that had been to vet school! I love offering support and guidance to those who need it and being the ideal vet student mentor that I wish I had during my own time applying.
My favourite animal is the sloth, and in my free time, I enjoy long-distance running, playing squash and reading 🙂
Hey there! I’m Harriet, a final year Veterinary Medicine student at the University of Nottingham. Ever since I was a little, I’ve had an aspiration to care for animals and make a difference in their lives, and now that I’m making that happen, I want to offer my support and guidance to others who share the same dream.
During my application process as a graduate, I secured interview offers from Liverpool, Nottingham and RVC, which has given me valuable insights into a wide range of interview styles and what universities are really looking for in personal statements.
I’m incredibly passionate about helping other aspiring vets- I love to pass on my experiences and knowledge and help others secure their spot in this amazing career. From polishing up personal statements to getting prepped for interviews, whether it’s MMI or panel style, I’ve got you covered.
As a graduate applicant, I understand how overwhelming it can be to tackle the whole application without much guidance. I’m here to be the mentor I wished I had back then, offering tips and support to anyone feeling a bit lost in the application maze.
Let’s work together to make your vet school dreams a reality!
