Veterinary Tutors : 1-1 Veterinary Preparation

Hi there! I’m Erin, a final-year vet student at the University of Nottingham. Ever since I was in primary school I had always dreamed of one day becoming a vet, and now that I’m here fulfilling my goals, I’m keen to support other applicants through their journey to vet school! I have lots of experience mentoring students through the application process (most of whom have gone on to be successful in securing vet school offers), from supporting students with personal statement writing, interview preparation, and paneling mock interviews myself.

I’m incredibly passionate about supporting students through their application to vet school since I’m from a widening participation background, and during my own application process had to figure everything out for myself since I didn’t know anybody that had been to vet school! I love offering support and guidance to those who need it and being the ideal vet student mentor that I wish I had during my own time applying.

My favourite animal is the sloth, and in my free time, I enjoy long-distance running, playing squash and reading 🙂

Hey there! I’m Harriet, a final year Veterinary Medicine student at the University of Nottingham. Ever since I was a little, I’ve had an aspiration to care for animals and make a difference in their lives, and now that I’m making that happen, I want to offer my support and guidance to others who share the same dream.

During my application process as a graduate, I secured interview offers from Liverpool, Nottingham and RVC, which has given me valuable insights into a wide range of interview styles and what universities are really looking for in personal statements.

I’m incredibly passionate about helping other aspiring vets- I love to pass on my experiences and knowledge and help others secure their spot in this amazing career. From polishing up personal statements to getting prepped for interviews, whether it’s MMI or panel style, I’ve got you covered.

As a graduate applicant, I understand how overwhelming it can be to tackle the whole application without much guidance. I’m here to be the mentor I wished I had back then, offering tips and support to anyone feeling a bit lost in the application maze.

I am Vedant, a fourth year Veterinary student at the Royal Veterinary College, London. I am an interesting and easy going person who loves to play sports, watch movies and tv shows and express my creativity.

I was born in Mumbai but have lived in Dubai for 11 years where I attending school and 6th form. I moved to London last September in the midst of COVID and have been here for over the last 3 years making friends, exploring the city and discovering new places to eat and enjoy myself.

I am hardworking and love teaching my peers because I find it challenging and rewarding, especially when I help students understand the subjects they are learning.

When I am not studying at uni, I play cricket for Potters Bar Cricket Club, and I am just beginning to explore pottery and polo which I have grown a liking to.

Hi! I’m Ronald, a 1st Year Veterinary Student at the Royal Veterinary College from Hong Kong. Having recently gone through the admission process for Veterinary Medicine, I completely understand how anxious the veterinary admissions process can be. I hope to relieve some of that stress by helping students better understand the process and how to excel in the process, as I believe the key to a good interview is also to enjoy the process!

I also have some past experience tutoring IB Biology and Chemistry and would be more than happy to help out! Having achieved 7/7 as well as 98% in the Ontario Secondary School Diploma Curriculum (For Biology and Chemistry) from an initially predicted grade of 5/7, I completely understand how daunting Biology and Chemistry can be at times, and I hope to share some Study techniques and revision methods that really helped me improve my grades!

Hello! I am Obelia, a 1st-year veterinary student at the Royal Veterinary College. I have always loved teaching, no matter if it’s to my friends or students I have tutored. I am looking to tutor primary school students, I/GCSE, and A-level students.

I am hard-working, organised, friendly and articulate. I have experience tutoring GCSE students in chemistry, biology and maths and I was involved in assisting years 7-13 with their homework and tests on all subjects.

I completed IGCSE on 11 subjects and obtained 8 9s in maths, biology, chemistry, economics, English as a second language, Spanish, Chinese (Cantonese), religious studies, and 3 8s in accounting, English as a first language and further mathematics. I went on and achieved A*AA in maths, biology and chemistry at A-level.
I am therefore also confident in tutoring A-level maths, chemistry and biology and am confident I would be able to improve student’s grades.

I also offer IELTS tutoring, in which I obtained an 8.5 overall score.

I am now studying veterinary medicine at the Royal Veterinary College, the #1 vet school in the world (QS ranking). Thus, I can also provide vet school interview preparation and practice, as well as general university preparation like MMI, panel interview practices and personal statement editing.
