My name is Phoebe and I am a second year undergraduate at Oxford University studying Spanish and Linguistics.

I studied Spanish, Maths, and English Language at A-Level, achieving A*A*A* and winning a school prize for an outstanding contribution to the language faculty. At GCSE, I achieved 11 grade 9s.

I’m most often found in the library, but outside of studying, I enjoy going on long walks through the countryside, playing the piano with my younger sibling, and relaxing with my friends.

I come from a family of teachers and have years of tutoring experience, so my lessons will always be fun, interactive, and most importantly informative. Whatever your academic goals are, I will support you as best as I can.

As a current PhD student in English at the University of Cambridge, with a solid academic background including a BA in Comparative Literature from QMUL and a Mst in English Literature (1830-1914), I am thrilled to offer my expertise and guidance in English language and literature, creative writing, Italian, and essay skills, as well as help with university admissions.

I’m an enthusiastic and approachable French and German graduate with extensive experience working with young people in multiple countries. I’m offering tutoring/mentoring for students applying to study French and German at university, particularly for admission to Oxford and Cambridge. I can help with any part of the process including personal statements and preparation for admissions tests and interviews.

Having graduated in 2022, I am up to date with admissions processes and have a good understanding of the student’s perspective. As such, you can be assured that my advice is not outdated and will be both realistic and efficient in terms of the most effective way to approach your application.

With regard to Oxford and Cambridge admissions, the interview process can seem very daunting to applicants because it seems difficult to know exactly what they will ask and how it will be conducted. Prior to attending Cambridge, I achieved A* in Spanish, Mathematics, and Further Mathematics A-Level. I am a friendly, hard-working, and dedicated tutor who enjoys encouraging others to study and work towards their academic goals while simultaneously boosting their confidence.
