Hello! My name is Tareef and I am currently a 2nd year student studying at the University of Oxford.
For some context, I attended an underperforming state school for my secondary school (only 25% of students get a grade 5 in English and Maths), yet I managed to achieve the highest results in my school (5 grade 9’s and 3 grade 8’s). Whilst studying for my GCSEs, I found out that tutoring other students also helped me reinforce my learning and I realised I enjoyed helping my peers also succeed by teaching them the trickier concepts on a 1-to-1 basis that they would otherwise have not received.
After my GCSEs, I was fortunate enough to get a full scholarship to my local grammar school, which is where I did my A-Levels – achieving grades of A*A*A*A. The Sixth Form provided great tailored support throughout my Oxford application, and I hope to provide this support to capable students who have not been fortunate enough to receive the same level of support.

I am a student studying Biomedical Science in the University of Sunderland with an integrated placement in the NHS at the Royal Victoria Infirmary. I have a passion for teaching Maths, Science and English as they were some of my favourite subjects in school, and since it hasn’t been very long since I’ve left my secondary education, I am well versed in those three subjects, science to a further level due to my degree. My main hobbies are music and drama. Having been a musical theatre child, I performed in a lot of school dramas as well as in a band. I also headed the orchestra for some time and enjoy supporting people with their musical interests and hobbies.

Hi, I’m Ayesha – a St Andrews University student who loves to help others in anyway possible and adores teaching others, regardless of the academic level you are at. I would argue that I am not judgemental, and I’m willing and wanting to teach and help students regardless of their academic level. I love seeing academic progression, as well as seeing pride and happiness that parents and students get after all the effort. I specialise in psychology in particular, but also sociology and religious studies – but I’m able to teach a wide array of subjects. I previously studied under the rigorous Brampton Manor Academy and acquired 3A*s (and I will work with the aims of helping my students achieve the same). I’m someone who is flexible and is able to change according to the individual students needs – so I think I’m suitable as a teacher to most, and I’d hope you decide the same!

Hi there! I’m Candice and I’ve recently graduated from Oxford (St John’s) reading Geography. Before this, I achieved 3 A*s and an A in French, Spanish, Geography and English Literature at A-Level. Whilst at Oxford, I helped mentor prospective students through the admissions process for Geography and so understand the Oxbridge admissions process thoroughly. I also have lots of tutoring experience for GCSE and A-Level students. I understand that every student learns in different ways and speeds so I will adapt every session to your goals and progress throughout so you feel as comfortable and prepared as possible whether that’s solidifying your knowledge of Geography as a whole or tackling tricky interview questions and admissions tests. Hi, I’m Imaan. I’m a third year medical student at the University of Plymouth, I know the interview process inside out and I know that it takes A LOT of determination. I have independently achieved all my medical school offers and thats why I know that although it seems impossible, there’s always a way to achieve your dreams and I’m here to help you find it! I have lots of experience coaching students and am easy to talk to. I have had to deal with the daunting experience of applying to medical school, independently, including; taking the UCAT exam twice! This has taught me everything there is to know about the test and I have developed many tips and tricks.
