My name is Katie and I’m currently studying Veterinary Medicine at the University of Nottingham.

I achieved 3 A* at A level in Biology, Chemistry and Spanish, so I’d love to pass on any of my crazy ways to remember parts of the syllabus.

As an applying student, I received help from a mentor at Medic Mind and learnt exactly what is needed to become a vet student. I really hope I’ll be able to help you all achieve your dreams of becoming a vet because, trust me, it’s possible. I understand how overwhelming sixth form can be, with the difficult content and applying to university, so I’ll be the friendly face who motivates you through it all and you can ask any questions about the process to. I can give you any interview, SJT or SAQ advice, or even just tips on how to prioritise your time throughout year 13.

My name is Mohammad and I’m a 4th year dental student at KCL. I am a hard worker, determined and delighted student who is willing to share my knowledge with you. I have achieved AAA*A* in my A-level subjects which are biology, chemistry, maths and Persian. I also did 9 GCSES with A grade in maths, sciences and English. I always try to inspire my students and make them to believe in their abilities and skills.

I have taught for the past three years and all of my students managed to achieve their target grade.
I follow a really unique method for my teaching. For the first part the session, I usually teach and go through everything, then I asses my students to make sure they understood everything and if there is any problem I will explain it again before I leave. Usually, I set some homework to make my students more familiar with exam style questions.

I have a experience of teaching most of the exam boards in depth and I’m always happy to help more students. I have experience of teaching for over two years and all of my students achieved their target grade. Every single student have the skills to achieve the best with the right mentoring. I did a mentoring course in August 2020. This helped me to understand my students better and set an unique learning plan for each one of them as I believe every student has different abilities and based on those abilities, I would approach in order to accomplish a better result.

Hello! My name is Anusha, and I am a 2nd Year Graduate Entry Medical Student at Swansea University. I have also completed a degree in Population Health and Medical Sciences, so I have a good knowledge of public health issues and a solid grounding in Biology.

When I applied the first time, I received interviews for Undergraduate Medicine at Sheffield, Southampton, Bristol and Plymouth, and offers at Sheffield, Southampton and Plymouth. When I applied for Graduate Entry Medicine, I received interviews from Swansea and Nottingham (Grad Entry) and finally chose Swansea as my Medical School!

I have good experience with the UCAT and the GAMSAT, and in the GAMSAT I scored high enough to secure two interviews at highly competitive graduate medical schools, so I have a wealth of tips and tricks for these exams. I have been tutoring for over a year now, and my students have come out with great results.

During my spare time, I like to partake in Dance and Painting, both of which have helped me in maintaining a work life balance.
