Hi! I am Tulika Nahar and I am super passionate about teaching. If I had to explain to someone who I am, I would say I am a life-long learner. I love the process of learning and understanding the “why” or the big picture. In most areas where I have excelled in the past, it is because I have taken my time to build a good base. I wish to extend my learnings to my students and introduce them to the same passion I have. I have taken loads of exams from IB, medical school entrance exams, medical school exams, and USMLE Step 1. I have a good exam-taking strategy and I will help you achieve and conquer any exam because no exam should take control over you. With hard work and dedication, anyone should be able to control the results they obtain. If you master the process of learning (including being comfortable with all the set backs) and exam-taking, you should be able to meet all your goals and I am here to help with both aspects.
My teaching style
My teaching style depends on the student of course. I love testing my students and actively recalling past information from previous sessions. In addition, a lot of analogies, visual aids, and sometimes traditional methods of lectures but with loads of interactions with the student. Its never gonna be me just sitting and teaching.
My past experience
I have taught medical school students at earlier levels and had my own tutoring company to teach IB students in biology, chemistry, and maths.
My Proudest Achievements
Proudest achievement is excelling at medical interviews, being first in my highschool, and passing step 1!
