We ensure convenient arrangements for our international students who reside overseas, as 70% of our student body falls into this category. We facilitate pick-up services from Heathrow airport to the accommodation, where a member of the Study Mind team will greet you. Additionally, if necessary, we will also arrange transportation back to your departure terminal.

Like a math summer camp, this summer school is targeted at 16-18-year-old students before university (so they may include the summer school on their UCAS personal statement for university applications). However, the programme is suitable for students aged 14-25.

The Mathematics Summer School is non-refundable once booked. This is because we have to plan for all logistics including accommodation bookings, room bookings and more. If you are unsure whether you can attend but don't want to lose your spot, you can pay a non-refundable deposit of £500 to secure your place. The remaining payment will be due before the start of the course.

Safety is paramount to our Maths Summer School. Your child will always be accompanied by the Study Mind Safeguarding team for any travel needed in between their summer math classes.

During the maths summer camp, London accommodation can be provided in single rooms where breakfast and dinner will be provided. You will stay here from Sunday night (day before the course) as well as the last day of the course (Friday) so in total 6 nights. There is 24/7 security and Study Mind staff who are first aid and safeguarding trained will be on site to assist. We can also arrange airport pick up for you.

Students coming to the UK for the Mathematics Summer School will need a Standard Visitor visa- https://www.gov.uk/standard-visitor

The Standard Visitor visa can only be applied for by parents/guardians and costs £100. They must apply through the UK Gov website only, You can name our course and Study Mind as the guardians of under 18s, and provide then the course information and booking confirmation when applying for the visa.

We recommend booking flights first before applying for the visa, as the visa needs proof of a return flight (the course end date might be enough, but might result in rejection).

However, you will receive a detailed timetable in advance with specific timings.
