We offer work experience in various branches of finance, including financial analysis, investment banking, wealth management, and accounting, among others. Our aim is to furnish students with a broad and well-rounded exposure to the multifaceted world of finance careers.

We take special measures to cater to our international students who travel from overseas, comprising the majority of our student cohort, amounting to 70%. We provide convenient airport pick-up services from Heathrow airport to our accommodation, where a dedicated Study Mind team member will be on hand to extend a warm welcome. Additionally, if required, we can arrange transportation back to your departure terminal for your convenience.

We highly recommend this finance work experience course to individuals aged 14-25. This includes students in Year 9 or above and graduate entry applicants who are looking to explore and gain valuable insights into the field of finance careers.

Once you have booked the finance work experience week, please be aware that it is non-refundable. This policy is in place because we need to make meticulous logistical arrangements, including accommodation and room bookings. If you are uncertain about your availability but wish to reserve your spot, you have the option to secure your place with a non-refundable deposit of £500. The remaining payment will be required prior to the commencement of the finance work experience course.

Ensuring the safety of your child is our utmost priority during our finance work experience week. The Study Mind Safeguarding team will always be present to accompany your child for any required travel. There is a 30-minute train journey to and from the accommodation to the hospitals/hospice, and rest assured, your child will be fully accompanied throughout this journey to ensure their well-being and security.

During your finance work experience, you will be accommodated in single rooms at UCL Accommodation. Breakfast and dinner will be provided during your stay. You'll begin your stay on Sunday night, the day before the course begins, and conclude on the last day of the course, which is Friday, resulting in a total of 6 nights. You can enjoy the peace of mind of 24/7 security, and there will be dedicated Study Mind staff on-site who are trained in first aid and safeguarding to provide assistance. Additionally, if needed, we can arrange airport pick-up for your convenience.

For students planning to join our Finance Work Experience in the UK, obtaining a Standard Visitor visa is necessary. You can apply for the Standard Visitor visa through the UK Government's official website at https://www.gov.uk/standard-visitor. Please note that this application process is only applicable to parents/guardians and comes with a cost of £100.

When applying for the visa, you can specify our course and Study Mind as the guardians for under 18s. It's important to provide course information and booking confirmation as part of your visa application.

We acknowledge the difficulties presented by the prevailing economic circumstances regarding initial payments. In order to offer flexibility, we present interest-free installment schemes spanning 3, 6, and 12 months. It's important to be aware, though, that securing your place necessitates a non-refundable deposit of £500.

Booking our accommodation is not mandatory. You have the option to either commute or make your own accommodation arrangements if necessary. However, there are advantages to booking our accommodation.
