Hi! I am Iman, a fourth-year medical student at the University of Birmingham. I hold a deep passion for teaching and a commitment to helping aspiring medics achieve their dreams of getting into medical school. Having been through the process myself, I understand just how daunting and challenging it can be. My goal is to make this journey easier by offering personalized support, whether it’s for exam preparation, interview practice, or crafting standout applications.
At university, I am a member of the HealthBridges society, where we make a huge impact on the younger students, aiding them to navigate their way in medical school!
With a love for teaching and mentoring, I aim to break down complex concepts and provide guidance that empowers future medical students to feel confident and prepared. I’m here to help you succeed, navigate the application process with ease, and bring you one step closer to becoming a doctor.
My teaching style
My teaching style is student-centered, focusing on breaking down complex topics into understandable pieces. I encourage active participation, ask questions to deepen understanding, and adapt to each student’s unique needs.
My past experience
I have previous experience conducting MMI/medicine interview mocks, helping aspiring medical students prepare for this crucial part of the application process. I have volunteered to help medics with MMI interviews for many different societies at the University of Birmingham. I have also been involved in Study Mind MMI interview days. I provide tailored feedback and guidance to ensure students feel confident and ready for their interviews.
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievements include successfully guiding numerous aspiring medical students through the challenging application process, helping them gain offers into medical school, and conducting impactful MMI mock sessions.
