What is covered on the AQA GCSE Chemistry exams?

Paper 1 comprises of questions on Atomic structure and the periodic table; Bonding, structure, and the properties of matter; Quantitative chemistry, Chemical changes; and Energy changes.
Paper 2 comprises of questions on the rate and extent of chemical change; Organic chemistry; Chemical analysis, Chemistry of the atmosphere; and Using resources.

How long is the AQA GCSE Chemistry exam?

There are two papers and students will have a maximum of 1 hour and 45 minutes for each paper. Both papers hold the same weighting of 50% each.
