I’m Charlotte, a Masters student at the University of Cambridge (Physical Natural Sciences), and I would love to help you achieve your academic potential! With a proven track record of academic excellence at GCSE, and A level (4 A*) I have maintained a wide scope of discipline whilst at university. Before finding a passion for History and Philosophy of Science this year, I have previously taken university modules in Mathematics, Physics, Materials Science and Earth Sciences, making full use of the diversity the Cambridge Natural Sciences course provides. With over 5 years tutoring experience in the sciences and maths, I have developed an enthusiastic and positive approach to help you achieve your potential. I’m a strong believer in practice exam questions as the key to success, so not only will I deal with the challenging concepts of the syllabus with clarity but teach you how to best apply this knowledge to an exam situation. I am unique in that as a Cambridge Organ Scholar I was able to apply to both Oxford and Cambridge, and thus have gone through the preparations for entrance exams and interviews for both institutions, before receiving an unconditional offer from Cambridge. This means I’m highly equipped to tutor both the NSAA and the PAT, as well as skilled at helping you to master the environment of the Oxbridge interview. Hi, my name is Ben Spink and I recently graduated from Durham University with a 2:1 in Music and Philosophy. I have a huge passion for music – in performance I play the trumpet to grade 8 standard, drums and tuned percussion and sing. I have a vast knowledge of the history of music through GCSE (A*), A level (A) and historical modules at university, and I researched in depth the role of the trumpet in British music, 1945-90 for my university dissertation in which I achieved a 2:1. I also have an interest in the psychological impact of music which was a key aspect to my EPQ at Marlborough College titled: ‘Can Music Enhance Sporting Performance’ (A). In Philosopy I achieved A* at GCSE, A at A-Level and excelled in Philosophy at University, particularly with modules surrounding ethics in business, the environment and with animals.

Hi! I am a recent Cambridge University Graduate who has spent the last year working at one of the most prestigious international schools in Thailand in the music department. During my time there, I led GCSE Music Revision and GCSE Music Theory classes, assisted with personal statements and coached an A-Level music student for her Oxford interview (she received an offer!). I would love to be able to assist you in your journey studying music, whether that’s GCSE, A-Level or University Preparation.

I have also coached students on writing their Personal Statement for English and History degrees, and have a 100% track record for offers received.

In my spare time, I love to compose. At GCSE and A-Level I received 100% in my compositions. Since discovering my passion for composition, I have written a series of orchestral suites, smaller chamber pieces, and a choral song cycle which was debuted by a Cambridge Choir on tour in Iceland.

I have endeavoured to pursue opportunities that make me a well-rounded and well-developed person and musician. I have a great understanding of liturgical music from my posts in choirs throughout my life; an extensive knowledge of Western music history; training in composition and film composition; good research skills; completed modules in beginners, applied and advanced tonal skills; studied the role of colonialism in modern Western understanding of music; received tuition on the role of popular music and technology in social change and written two dissertations on the role of music in film and culture.

Hello! My name is Sophia and I am a 3rd year medical student currently studying at the University of Bristol. I achieved top grades in my GCSEs and A levels, as well as in my UCAT. Having gone through A levels and the medicine application process, I understand how stressful and hard it is and I would like to guide students to achieve the best grades they can to get into their dream university. I am passionate and patient in teaching students, and eager to improve students’ confidence in exams and university interviews. I will tailor classes to each student to ensure they can understand material in the best way they can.
