Hello! My name is Sophia and I am a 3rd year medical student currently studying at the University of Bristol. I achieved top grades in my GCSEs and A levels, as well as in my UCAT. Having gone through A levels and the medicine application process, I understand how stressful and hard it is and I would like to guide students to achieve the best grades they can to get into their dream university. I am passionate and patient in teaching students, and eager to improve students’ confidence in exams and university interviews. I will tailor classes to each student to ensure they can understand material in the best way they can. As for past tutoring experience, I have some experience in tutoring and teaching musical instruments to students in the past few years. I look forward to meeting some of you!
My teaching style
I like to tailor lessons to each student’s weaker areas of study and explain concepts in depth to ensure they understand the content completely. I also go through practice questions with students to consolidate their learning. At the end of each lesson I also find it helpful to write down key points learnt during the lesson as to outline what can be covered further next class.
My Proudest Achievements
I managed to get five medicine offers in total, reflecting my months of hard work and dedication.
