Hello! I’m Pearl, a second-year medicine student at Queen Mary, University of London. I’m passionate about anything science or art related! In my spare time, I love to read, paint or dance my heart away. I’m looking forward to getting involved in more research in the future and perhaps even fulfilling my dream of becoming a pediatrician:)

I’m quite passionate about helping other people and giving back to the community. Currently, I work with Inspire Foundation to help children with autism develop essential skills and improve their quality of life. In the past, I’ve helped other students prepare for their exams and fill out their applications for university. I am also a certified first-aider and work with ERRC to provide ambulance services at major events!

This helped students gain access to regular, interactive teaching during a time where it was less available. The exam results and feedback were full of positive reflections and we felt very rewarded to provide support during a time of social distancing and reduced face to face learning opportunities.
