About Me
Hello I’m Courtney, a future doctor and passionate tutor! I’m an incoming 4th year medical student at Newcastle University with a strong academic foundation in multiple disciplines. Before studying medicine, I earned a BSc in Global Health and Biology in the USA, followed by an MSc in Infection and Immunology from the University of Leeds. I’m really proud of the work I did before medical school—it helped shape a well-rounded perspective that I carry into my clinical training today. This experience has given me a deeper understanding of complex topics and the ability to explain them clearly.
I love helping students build confidence and hopefully enjoy learning the same way I do! Whether you’re seeking support in biology, anatomy, health sciences, or general study strategies–I aim to create an engaging and effective tutoring experience that is tailored to meet your goals.
My teaching style
Empowering and student-focused, my tutoring style aims to build confidence alongside knowledge. I strive to create a space where students feel supported, capable, and ready to apply what they’ve learned in real-world or academic settings.
