Hi I’m Leah from Chester and I’m in my 4th year studying Medicine at Imperial College London (intercalating in Business Management for my BSc). The medicine application process can be super daunting and I’d love to help make it easier for you! My scores are great but I also have the skills and characteristics to teach you and share that knowledge effectively. I’ve loved my time at medical school so far, and would be honoured to help you get here too! I had some amazing teachers at GCSE and A-Level and having tutored and received tutoring before, I know exactly what makes an effective lesson. I’m friendly, chatty and supportive. Hello! My name is Hikari.
I have four years of overall teaching experience. After completing my master’s degree, I aspire to become a full-time teacher. During this time, I have taught a wide range of courses, including GCSE Economics, GCSE Business Studies, A/level Economics, A/level Business Studies, IELTS, phonics, Eiken, Business English, and conversation.
As soon as I graduated from school, many students approached me to tutor them in Economics and business studies. I then began tutoring A/Level and O/Level Economics and Business Studies. All of the students I’ve taught so far have excelled in their Edexcel and Cambridge exams. Last year, one of my students won the subject prize.
During my academic journey, I have had the opportunity to study Economics at both the GCSE and A-Level levels, following the curriculum offered by prestigious examination boards such as Cambridge and Edexcel. I enjoy teaching Business Studies mainly. My experience in Economics has been enriching and insightful, allowing me to develop a solid understanding of fundamental economic principles and concepts. I am excited to share my knowledge and expertise as a tutor. With a passion for teaching and a strong grasp of economic principles, I am well-equipped to guide students through the complexities of the subject. My teaching approach focuses on breaking down complex concepts into easily digestible parts, providing real-world examples to enhance understanding, and fostering critical thinking skills. I worked as a full-time teacher at a reputable international school. In addition to full-time teaching, I spent nearly two years teaching volunteers, primarily Japanese students residing in Japan, as well as overseas communication and other skills. I have also earned three diplomas to provide my students with the greatest education possible. I continued to become a TEFL/TESOL certified teacher. Teaching has become my favorite place to share my knowledge and assist students in their growth.

Hey guys, my name is Pragyan Pratyush, and I am First-Year Student at the LSE, where I am en-route to getting first-class honours. I am pursuing a BSc in Economics but would highlight Economics, Mathematics, Physics and Business Studies as my subjects of strength. I’m part of the Cricket team here and a couple of other societies, like an executive member of a social policy podcast, and I hold roles as a student consultant.

I was the IBDP world topper in high school, getting 45/45 in the May 2022 Examinations with an A in TOK and an A in EE. Apart from that, I was an active member of the school community via my active involvement in organising student events. I organised multiple events like upwards of 30 debate events, charity runs, TedXYouth events, tutoring programmes, student start-ups, etc. I also played numerous sports, including but not limited to cricket, basketball, and football.

Here’s about me! I’m an avid, highly social learner and love interacting with new people. I find great motivation in helping people, especially in academics, and I love to chat about all sorts of things like movies, sports, songs, stupidly hypothetical scenarios, etc.

Hi! I’m Priyanka. I’m entering second year of uni at LSE and I study Economics & Economic History. I was born and brought up in Dubai and followed the Indian system of education, which in my opinion is insanely intense (especially the math). I love sports, music and reading. I was a national level swimmer and chess player. I also love dance and music, it’s the best form of therapy for me.
As a kid I never found learning fun but I soon realised the difference a teacher can make in one’s learning journey. And that’s why I wanted to tutor too, so I can help make a difference and do my part. I am very chill and I aim for my classes to be a reflection of that, but at the same time I expect effort to be put in from the student’s side as well. Just know you are going to have a great time learning!
