I’m a doctor and scientist, a graduate of an Ivy League medical school, who have always been passionate about teaching and helping students achieve their maximum potential. My MD alongside my bachelors degrees allowed me to acquire a strong background in a variety of subjects. Since I was a student, I discovered I have a great ability to teach. Colleagues were often approaching me for help given my ability to simplify and deliver knowledge in the most effective manner.

I have a decade of teaching experience for science subjects and English up to very advanced university level. My students have always achieved great grades and realised their goals. That’s what I always aspire to see happen and take pride in.

With over 1.5 years of teaching experience and over 350 hours of tutoring, I have successfully guided students from diverse backgrounds, helping them excel in their studies. My students consistently show significant improvements in both their grades and their confidence. Recognizing that each student is unique, I customise my teaching methods to fit individual learning styles and needs. I hold a strong academic background, having achieved a UCAT score of 3130, 2 A*s and an A at A-level. Currently, I am entering my 3rd year of dentistry at Birmingham. My solid academic foundation allows me to provide high-quality instruction across a range of subjects. Despite having arrived in the UK only ten years ago, I have accomplished a great deal in a short span of time.

Hi! I’m a final year Dental student at the University of Manchester 🙂 I’ve had lots of experience in tutoring students and prospective students one on one, reviewing personal statements (even if they’re for different courses or courses that are slightly related – e.g. Medicine!), and I’ve provided a lot of Q&A sessions for how I got into Uni and how I got 4/4 of my offers.

I received offers from King’s College London, Queen Mary College, Cardiff University, and the University of Manchester. I come from a socioeconomically deprived area, so I understand how it feels to be in competition for a University spot against others with better luck of the draw. I also have ADHD so I know how it feels to be a neurodivergent student and require slightly different styles and modes of teaching and concentration.

I love working with people and helping them – it’s part of why I want to go into Dentistry! I’d love for a chance to tutor even more people and make sure they’re receiving the best quality education and top personal tips for getting into Uni. Since I’ve worked as a Student Ambassador at UoM, I’ve also received “inside info” on how to ace your interview, and going through so many interviews myself as both the interviewee and the interviewer has given me a lot of experience so I can share all my knowledge with you!

Hi there, I’m Maryam! I’m a French and Arabic student at Oxford.

I homeschooled, sitting my GCSEs and A-levels by age 13. Having taught myself many of the exams I sat, I have a lot to contribute to the field of teaching. For many subjects I would have an hour or two of tuition/week so I know how to maximise limited tuition time to get the most out of it.

After those exams I worked as a digital marketer, where I learnt how to manage a sales team and gained a ton of experience. I was encouraged by my family to go down the business route but with a growing interest in language and philosophy, I rebelled by sitting more A-levels (French A*, Arabic A*, Maths A*).

I want to go into academia and become a teacher because I love the subjects I am doing. I also love working with kids, and, being the eldest of three siblings, it comes naturally to me!
