Arabic Tutors : 1-1 Arabic Preparation

Hi! I’m a final year Dental student at the University of Manchester 🙂 I’ve had lots of experience in tutoring students and prospective students one on one, reviewing personal statements (even if they’re for different courses or courses that are slightly related – e.g. Medicine!), and I’ve provided a lot of Q&A sessions for how I got into Uni and how I got 4/4 of my offers.

I received offers from King’s College London, Queen Mary College, Cardiff University, and the University of Manchester. I come from a socioeconomically deprived area, so I understand how it feels to be in competition for a University spot against others with better luck of the draw. I also have ADHD so I know how it feels to be a neurodivergent student and require slightly different styles and modes of teaching and concentration.

I love working with people and helping them – it’s part of why I want to go into Dentistry! I’d love for a chance to tutor even more people and make sure they’re receiving the best quality education and top personal tips for getting into Uni. Since I’ve worked as a Student Ambassador at UoM, I’ve also received “inside info” on how to ace your interview, and going through so many interviews myself as both the interviewee and the interviewer has given me a lot of experience so I can share all my knowledge with you!

Hi, I’m Yousof — a first-year medical student at the University of Exeter with a real passion for helping others succeed. I tutor GCSE and A-Level Biology, Chemistry, Maths, and Arabic, as well as support students preparing for the UCAT and medicine or dentistry interviews.

I’ve recently gone through these stages myself and achieved top grades in all my subjects, so I know exactly how demanding exams can be — and how much of a difference the right support can make. What I offer is more than just subject knowledge: I help students feel confident, stay motivated, and approach their learning in a way that works for them.

I’ve always enjoyed supporting others in their learning. I’ve helped several friends prepare for their medical and dental school interviews by running detailed mock MMI stations and giving feedback tailored to their performance. Seeing them grow more confident with each session reminded me of how powerful guidance and encouragement can be. That’s exactly what I aim to bring to each of my tutoring sessions.

Having come from a strong academic background, I understand how to approach different exam boards and question types. I achieved grade 9s in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, Business, Arabic, Sport Studies, and Further Maths at GCSE, and continued to perform at a high level during A-Levels. My own preparation for UCAT and interviews was intense but rewarding — I’ve learned the importance of strategy, timing, and mindset, and I love sharing these insights with others.

One experience that shaped my academic journey was moving to the UK during the Covid-19 pandemic. I spent my first year at home with no school and entered the UK schooling system straight away. Despite this challenge, I quickly adapted and was honoured to receive an award for achieving the best GCSE results in my school. That year taught me how to be resilient, self-motivated, and proactive in my learning — qualities I now try to pass on to the students I tutor.

Beyond academics, I’ve competed as a swimmer at both national level in Saudi Arabia and regional level in the UK. Training at this level has taught me resilience, discipline, and how to perform under pressure — skills I apply not just to my own studies, but to how I teach and support others. I’m also involved in various research and volunteering projects, which have helped me become a strong communicator, a good listener, and someone who genuinely enjoys working with people.

Tutoring for me is about connection. I understand that no two students are the same, and I pride myself on adapting my approach to suit each individual’s needs. Whether someone needs help mastering exam technique, breaking down complex topics, or building their confidence, I’m here to support them every step of the way. I keep lessons structured, interactive, and reflective — always striving to make learning feel manageable and enjoyable.

Above all, I care deeply about the students I work with. I see tutoring as a partnership: your goals are my goals. Hi, I’m Zain and I’m passionate about helping students succeed through clear, engaging, and personalised learning.

I hold a First-Class BSc degree in Business Information Systems from De Montfort University, and I’ve been working in both technical and leadership roles since graduating in 2018. My experience includes managing site operations and vehicle sales as a Site Manager and leading a sales team as a Senior Sales Executive. These roles have strengthened my communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills—qualities I bring into my tutoring.

Academically, I studied Biology, Psychology, and Urdu at A-Level, and I have a deep personal interest in subjects like biology and astronomy. I’ve also memorised the Qur’an in Arabic, which reflects my focus, discipline, and commitment to learning—values I aim to inspire in my students.

Hi, I’m Noor a 2nd year medical student with a passion for research, and education. Before starting med school, I gained experience in clinical placements, leadership, and communication through volunteering, research projects, and podcast discussions.
