About Me
I’m a medical student with over 3 years of tutoring experience, dedicated to helping students achieve their academic goals through clear, structured, and engaging teaching. Having performed exceptionally well in both GCSEs and A-levels to secure a place at a top UK university, I understand what it takes to succeed and am committed to helping others reach their full potential.
I specialise in tutoring GCSE Maths, English, Science, History, and Citizenship at GCSE and KS3 level, and I have developed strong skills across a wide range of subjects. My teaching focuses on making challenging topics easy to understand by breaking them down into manageable steps and creating tailored revision materials that support long-term retention.
Furthermore, I have experience in UCAT, Personal Statement and MMI/Panel interview mentoring!
My teaching style
My teaching style is adaptive and student-focused. I understand that every learner is different, which is why I adapt my approach to suit individual needs. I have experience supporting neurodivergent students, ensuring lessons are accessible, structured, and confidence-building. Whether you need extra help to keep up, want to boost your grades, or aim for top marks, I provide strategies that work for your learning style.
I teach students of all ages and levels, from KS3 to GCSE, focusing on building strong foundations and effective exam techniques. My goal is to create a positive and motivating learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing their skills, and making real progress.
My past experience
I have over 3 years of tutoring experience, from GCSE to A-Level to admissions exams and interviews.
My Proudest Achievements
One of my proudest achievements has been gaining a place at medical school, reflecting years of commitment, resilience, and sustained academic effort. Alongside this, I am particularly proud of my leadership and advocacy work as Neurodiversity Co-Chair for the University of Southampton Medical Students’ Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee, where I contribute to creating more inclusive, supportive learning environments for neurodivergent students. I am also proud of my involvement with ENCHE (the European Network for Climate Health Education), through which I have engaged with the intersection between climate change and health, reinforcing my commitment to socially responsible and globally minded medical practice.
