Hi there, I’m Cameron! It’s great that you are thinking already about raising your game and reaching your aspirations in education. It is not too long ago that I was in the same position. A bit about me: I am a current Oxford Philosophy and Theology undergraduate with a passion for education- a lifelong, enriching process which all learners should be able to access and where all should be feel a sense of achievement. Following from this, I have worked as a volunteer in educational outreach for state schools like where I came from before Oxford. I have ran personal statement and Oxbridge application workshops, as well as ‘tasters’ in philosophy. The biggest honour was that my high school allowed me to come back!
I studied English literature (A*), Psychology (A*), Philosophy (A) at A level, and I also studied History at AS where I received the highest mark in my cohort. I have always had a wide range of interests, and enjoyed seeing where and how they intertwine in interesting and creative ways.
My friends will say that I am both a solitary creature reading in libraries or wandering about Oxford, and a massive extrovert who loves staying out and meeting new people.
I hope that we can share an enthusiasm for learning, and I hope that I can help you in reaching your goals and aspirations.
I hold an Upper Second Class Honours in my Master’s degree in Pharmacy and have been working in various pharmacy settings since the age of 19. Over the years, I have gained valuable experience across both NHS and private healthcare sectors, including placements and roles in general practice, hospital pharmacy, and community settings. This diverse exposure has enabled me to develop a broad, flexible, and adaptable skill set, while significantly strengthening my clinical knowledge. Working in multidisciplinary teams and caring for patients from a range of backgrounds has also enhanced my communication, leadership, and decision-making skills. These experiences have given me the confidence and competence to thrive in complex clinical environments and deliver safe, high-quality pharmaceutical care.

I completed an AS Level award in English Literature and A Levels in History, Psychology and Art and Design. I then achieved a 2:1 in BSc Applied Psychology at Liverpool John Moores University in 2014. In 2018, I successfully completed a PGCert from the University of Birmingham in Low Intensity Psychological Interventions, and in 2021 I qualified as a teacher of Art and Design.
I am a creative-thinking and motivated individual looking for a new challenge to broaden my horizons. I have previously worked as a psychological talking therapist, and I am also a qualified secondary teacher with extensive experience in schools; which has led me to my current role as an SEN tutor for adolescents who are refusing school attendance. My role is to provide them with the emotional support and encouragement needed to return to school, as well as helping them to learn and revise all curriculum material needed to pass their exams. I relish the opportunity to build positive relationships with others, as this is what motivates me, and I love to see meaningful changes which lead to bright futures; as a result of the work that myself and others have put in. I believe that in order to overcome any challenge, the first step is to identify the barriers to change. This requires the development of trusting relationships with students, as well as their parents and key staff members at their enrolled schools. Once these barriers are identified, we are able to collaboratively come up with a tailored plan to integrate students back into school.
I’m Emily, currently studying at economics and management. I would love to support anyone who needs help in their academic journey, helping them succeed by imparting my knowledge at techniques. I achieved all grade 9s at GCSE, so know how to help students in a broad range of subjects. I also achieved all A*s in my A levels, and am still passionate about my A-level subjects.I try to be flexible in my approach to tutoring. For students who need more guidance, I offer structured lessons with detailed explanations. For more independent learners, I foster problem-solving and self-learning by guiding them through the process rather than simply giving answers. My goal is to adapt to each student’s pace and ensure they are confident in the material we cover. Also, I believe in continuous feedback and open communication, so I regularly check in with students to gauge their understanding and adjust my approach based on their progress.
Hi
As a tutor, I bring a kind, caring, and empathic approach, deeply rooted in the belief that every child holds unique potential waiting to be nurtured. My practice is centred around developing individual capacity, confidence, and self-esteem through creative play and a Steiner-inspired educational philosophy.
I take time to understand each learner’s needs, designing a bespoke hidden curriculum that gently weaves academics and a natural problem-solving approach into meaningful, engaging experiences. This approach is especially supportive for children facing behavioural or personal challenges.
My goal is to foster a sense of curiosity and critical thinking, encouraging students to explore, question, and grow at their own pace—building not just knowledge, but a genuine love of learning.
Kind Regards,
Anthony.

I am an experienced tutor who aims to make learning fun and rewarding. I started tutoring while I was studying my degree and discovered that I loved it! After completing my degree, I started tutoring privately and then joined tutoring companies such as Explore Learning and Catch Up Academy.
I tutor English, math and science from KS1 up to KS3 in person and online. I also tutor 11+ (GL and CEM) and GCSE Maths where I work to prepare students for the exams. I specialise in tutoring people who have SENDs needs or require to be home schooled. I will ensure that the student’s needs are met during the sessions and I am flexible when it comes to tutoring. I can also support you with developing coping strategies, build confidence or finding different approaches when it comes to learning or taking exams.
My goal to provide a safe and encouraging learning environment where the student has accomplished their goal by the end of the session. I will also support students to build their confidence, learn from mistakes and to apply their knowledge. I will always provide feedback at the end of every session so the student is kept up to date on what they’ve accomplished.
Hi! My name is Michelle, and I am currently studying Graduate Entry Medicine at the University of Warwick, after achieving a First Class degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Surrey. In my first application cycle, I received 4 interviews and 3 offers for Medicine (Warwick, King’s College London, and Barts and the London), supported by a UCAT score of 3400 on my first attempt. Academically, I achieved A*AA at A level and seven 9s and three 8s at GCSE.
My goal as a tutor is to work closely with each student to bring out their full potential—whether that means achieving top grades, building confidence for interviews, or securing university offers. I aim to create a supportive and tailored learning environment where students feel encouraged and motivated to succeed.
Please feel free to get in touch – I would love to support you on your journey!
Hi! I’m Archie, and I’m a second-year student reading History at Wadham College, University of Oxford. My university experience has been everything I could have hoped for and more, and I want to help other people live up to their potential in the way I was able to.
I actually got into Oxford on my second attempt, having received three A*s at A-level. Doing the application a second time meant taking a critical look at my Personal Statement, History Aptitude Test, and interview technique, analysing where I had fallen short, and how I could improve for next time. This was an enormously valuable experience, and in hindsight I would have loved to have had a similarly experienced person helping me out the first time around. I hope that this is what I can provide. The progress I made with myself from that rocky beginning resulted in a Distinction in my Preliminary exams at the end of first year and my receipt of several College awards and scholarships.
I also find tutoring enormously rewarding. At both school and university, I have held a number of positions which have entailed passing on my knowledge and experience to younger students, and I hope to do just that as your tutor.
