Hi 👋 I’m Kara, a History and Politics graduate from Brasenose college, Oxford! I am super passionate about all things History and Politics as well as International Relations, English literature and Economics. I am available to help students with a wide range of challenges, from Economics A-level to achieving full marks in an EPQ. Outside of studying, I enjoy travelling, reading fiction and all types of exercise, especially the gym and I am a firm believer in having a great work life balance. After studying independently for many months during the pandemic and missing GCSEs, I am in a unique position to understand the mental stress placed on high achieving students who have missed large parts of their education; as your tutor I will do everything I can to support you academically and emotionally. Hello! I’m Rhea, I am a first year Economics and Economic History student at the London School of Economics. I have two years of tutoring experience, helping students of all ages reach their potential in Maths and English, as well as Economics. By working with different styles of students I have found different ways of working with young people of different ages so I will be happy to frame the curriculum in a way which suits you!
I have also taken part in many maths challenges at every level. As someone who has only recently completed their A levels, and the university admissions process, I am happy to help with any concerns which you may have, both academic and with applications to a variety of top universities. Hi there, I’m Cameron! It’s great that you are thinking already about raising your game and reaching your aspirations in education. It is not too long ago that I was in the same position. A bit about me: I am a current Oxford Philosophy and Theology undergraduate with a passion for education- a lifelong, enriching process which all learners should be able to access and where all should be feel a sense of achievement. Following from this, I have worked as a volunteer in educational outreach for state schools like where I came from before Oxford. I have ran personal statement and Oxbridge application workshops, as well as ‘tasters’ in philosophy. The biggest honour was that my high school allowed me to come back!
I studied English literature (A*), Psychology (A*), Philosophy (A) at A level, and I also studied History at AS where I received the highest mark in my cohort. I have always had a wide range of interests, and enjoyed seeing where and how they intertwine in interesting and creative ways.
My friends will say that I am both a solitary creature reading in libraries or wandering about Oxford, and a massive extrovert who loves staying out and meeting new people.

I hold an Upper Second Class Honours in my Master’s degree in Pharmacy and have been working in various pharmacy settings since the age of 19. Hello, my name is Simon Hackett , and I’m an experienced tutor, Director at 4 Life Education alternative education provision, and ex Deputy Head at a vocational education setting. I’ve spent many years working with children and teenagers who haven’t quite found their place in mainstream school—and I know from experience that with the right support, the right approach, and a bit of patience, every young person can thrive.

I specialise in working with children who may have additional needs, struggle with behaviour or confidence, or just learn better in a different environment. I teach a range of subjects, including Maths, English, Construction, Sport, and life skills, and I always adapt lessons to suit the individual child. I am an experienced tutor who aims to make learning fun and rewarding. I started tutoring while I was studying my degree and discovered that I loved it! After completing my degree, I started tutoring privately and then joined tutoring companies such as Explore Learning and Catch Up Academy.

I tutor English, math and science from KS1 up to KS3 in person and online. I also tutor 11+ (GL and CEM) and GCSE Maths where I work to prepare students for the exams. I specialise in tutoring people who have SENDs needs or require to be home schooled. I will ensure that the student’s needs are met during the sessions and I am flexible when it comes to tutoring. I’m Emily, currently studying at economics and management. I would love to support anyone who needs help in their academic journey, helping them succeed by imparting my knowledge at techniques. I also achieved all A*s in my A levels, and am still passionate about my A-level subjects.I try to be flexible in my approach to tutoring.
