I’m Charlotte, a Masters student at the University of Cambridge (Physical Natural Sciences), and I would love to help you achieve your academic potential! With a proven track record of academic excellence at GCSE, and A level (4 A*) I have maintained a wide scope of discipline whilst at university. Before finding a passion for History and Philosophy of Science this year, I have previously taken university modules in Mathematics, Physics, Materials Science and Earth Sciences, making full use of the diversity the Cambridge Natural Sciences course provides. With over 5 years tutoring experience in the sciences and maths, I have developed an enthusiastic and positive approach to help you achieve your potential. I’m a strong believer in practice exam questions as the key to success, so not only will I deal with the challenging concepts of the syllabus with clarity but teach you how to best apply this knowledge to an exam situation. I am unique in that as a Cambridge Organ Scholar I was able to apply to both Oxford and Cambridge, and thus have gone through the preparations for entrance exams and interviews for both institutions, before receiving an unconditional offer from Cambridge. This means I’m highly equipped to tutor both the NSAA and the PAT, as well as skilled at helping you to master the environment of the Oxbridge interview. I’m confident, concise, and committed to helping you achieve your fullest potential in your chosen academic avenue.

Hi there! I’m Kamo and I’m currently a medical student at The University of Sheffield. I enjoy working with students and supporting them in their journey to achieving their dream careers. I have been an A Level and GCSE tutor and mentor to prospective medical students since 2022, so I have loads of experience working with KS4 and KS5 students. Additionally, I spent some time working with students on the autism spectrum, which encouraged me to approach education through new and exciting ways. With that, I understand how challenging and overwhelming particular subjects can be, particularly at such a pivotal point in education. Thus, my aim has always been to encourage students to be enthusiastic, confident and curious learners. Outside of academia, I lead an active lifestyle that allows me to take a break from medical school and connect with my friends and family. In particular, I am an avid hiker and I’m currently learning how to roller skate. I look forward to working with you!

I understand how frustrating it can be to be behind your academic goals and feel like you are failing, especially when you have goals of Masters/Grad studies/Medicine/Law etc. That was me. My second year of university I was on a low 2.1 and thought the prospect of Graduate Medicine was fading away after a dismal application attempt. I have been through this and can help turn things around. I take time to carefully plan a route to a higher grade at undergraduate level and specialise in working with humanities students who want to make the jump to Medicine. The whole process is daunting and requires a bit of strategising to get you to an interview and ultimately a place.

I have graduated from the University of Oxford with a 2.1 in Philosophy and Theology. Prior to attending Oxford, I achieved A*A*A* in English Literature, Latin and Religious Studies, with 5 A*S, 4 Grade 9s and a Grade 8 in GCSEs.

For the past few years, I have been a private tutor which has also entailed mentoring young students and seeing them progress and achieving their dream spots at their universities. This has enabled me to build client relationships and to handle multiple concurrent tasks, since I balanced tutoring with my ability to thrive in Oxford’s rigorous academic environment. I also believe that I work well under time constraints and to meet deadlines, which is an ability that my time at Oxford has prepared me well for.

I am well-placed to provide tuition at 11 and 13+, as well as English Language, English Literature and RE GCSE, A-Level and degree-level tuition. I am also up-to-date on examination syllabi and the requirements needed for achieving top marks.

I have tutoring experience in GCSE English Language, GCSE English Literature, GCSE Religious Studies and Oxbridge Classics admissions. I also mentor students in application for Oxbridge Classics, as I changed degrees in my third year, and assisted a student in her successful entrance to Oxford for Classics via personal statement, interview/test advice and general information about the course and university life. Therefore, I am available to support Oxbridge Classics admissions.
