About Me
Hi, I’m a 4th year astrophysics student at Edinburgh University. I am passionate about creating a supportive learning environment as I am incredibly aware that everyone has different learning needs. I am patient and love trying to find new ways to solve problems to ensure everyone can understand, as I believe learning should be accessible to all. I am passionate about maths, physics and accounting and can tutor them all for any high school course, although I can teach national 5/GCSE chemistry and business management. I have worked with young people as a tutor for many years and I like to help them thrive and make them feel more confident in (and potentially even enjoy!) subjects they previously were not confident in. I was a straight A student so have tips for how to study effectively and how to be an effective exam sitter
My teaching style
I have a patient and adaptive teaching style to ensure every student feels confident and supported. I enjoy the challenge of helping students enjoy subjects they previously both didn’t like and weren’t good at.
My past experience
I volunteer with underprivileged young people and I am the head coach of a junior sports club
