10About Me
I’m a fourth-year Dentistry student studying at Trinity College Dublin. In my free time, I find joy in both running and swimming. I’ve been fortunate to receive offers from all four of my preferred universities in the UK, namely Glasgow, Belfast, Cardiff, and Liverpool. My academic achievements include securing A*A*A at A-levels, and I achieved a UCAT score of 2680. Hailing from Northern Ireland, my lifelong aspiration to become a dentist has been deeply rooted in my unwavering passion for healthcare. From an early age, I’ve been captivated by the profound impact healthcare professionals have on people’s lives, and dentistry, in particular, has held a special place in my heart. The opportunity to combine scientific knowledge with hands-on patient care has been a driving force behind my academic journey. It’s a privilege to pursue my dreams in the field of dentistry, and I’m committed to making a positive difference in oral healthcare.
My teaching style
As a fourth-year Dentistry student at Trinity College Dublin, my current teaching style leans toward peer support and collaboration. I value sharing knowledge and assisting fellow students in understanding the process of gaining entry into Dentistry. I encourage problem-solving and a supportive atmosphere. In the future, my teaching style may evolve to include practice demonstrations. Overall, I aim to blend practical skills with clear communication, fostering a collaborative and adaptable learning environment to prepare.
My past experience
In addition to my academic pursuits, I’ve had the privilege of serving as an S2S mentor in Dentistry, where I’ve been able to provide invaluable support and guidance to younger dental students. In this role, I’ve taken on the responsibility of helping them navigate the intricacies of dental education and fostering a positive learning environment. I’ve shared my insights, experiences, and study techniques, offering them practical advice on how to excel in their coursework.
My Proudest Achievements
My most significant accomplishment is gaining admission to Dentistry programs and securing offers from all four prestigious universities in the UK.
