7About Me
Hi My name is Precious, I’m currently a 2nd Year Medical student at Brighton and Sussex Medical School. I chose to do medicine because it complimented my love for science and helping people within a healthcare setting.I have a passion for dermatology which i would love to specialise in after my degree to have more in-depth insights into the integumentary system; to investigate how the skin works and operates as well as investigating incurable and chronic skin disease caused by our genetics. I believe with the right teaching, the right motivation and support it’s possible to achieve anything you set your heart on with hard work and dedication. As a medic myself; through my experience with medic mind and interviews, I’m very familiar with medical application process and many mmi interviews which is beneficial to any student i teach. I did extremely well in my interview in which i got an offer three days later.
My teaching style
I’m someone that loves making learning interactive as possible as that’s how I think learning is best, coupled with the students interest in that chosen subject to fully grasp what they are learning and not to get bored to easily and to consolidate their learning. I would provide tailored lessons to improve students weaknesses by giving them loads of practice questions from their as well as an in depth explanation of the chosen topic of weakness. I would strengthen and consolidate their confident areas of knowledge as well as help achieve their ultimate goal, if not, higher!
My past experience
I’ve tutored students before for both A Level Chemistry and Biology which helped them to achieve significantly higher than their original goal to level 7s,8s and 9s.
My Proudest Achievements
I achieved A*AA at A Levels in biology, chemistry and sociology which helped gain a place at Brighton and Sussex medical school
