Devanga
About Me
Hi! I’m Devanga, a first-year medical student at King’s College London. I’ve always loved helping other aspiring medics, and after scoring in the top 1% on the UCAT (3300 B2) and receiving offers from all four of my choices, I want to share what I’ve learned with students going through the same process.
I’ve had plenty of experience with different MMI styles — ethical scenarios, communication tasks, hot-topic questions, teamwork activities, data interpretation, and patient-interaction stations. My goal is to help you build answers that are clear and structured, while also feeling confident, calm, and authentic in the interview room.
I also tutor IB subjects. As an IB graduate who scored 40/45, I teach HL Biology, HL Chemistry, SL Math AA, and SL French. I focus on making tricky content feel manageable and helping students develop the exam techniques that make a real difference.
My approach is friendly, supportive, and completely tailored to each student. Whether you want to boost your UCAT score, polish your personal statement, or prepare with confidence for MMIs, I’m here to help you feel ready and capable.
I’m genuinely excited to work with you and support you on your journey into medicine!
My teaching style
My teaching style is friendly, patient, and very personalised. I like to understand how each student learns best so I can explain things in a way that truly makes sense to them. I break down tricky concepts into simple steps and make sure we practise together until they feel confident. I encourage questions, take things at each student’s pace, and try to make sessions feel relaxed but productive. My goal is for students to feel supported, understood, and genuinely motivated as they improve.
My Proudest Achievements
Some of my proudest achievements include scoring in the top 1% on the UCAT. I’m also proud of my leadership roles at school, and my clinical research experience! These experiences strengthened my passion for medicine and my confidence in helping others succeed.
