20About Me
Hi! I’m a third year med student at HYMS and I’ve been a tutor for over 4 years! I enjoy teaching and know that some subjects can be hard for some students, but from my experience I’ve figured the best ways to help students achieve their full potential! I have achieved all A*s in Biology, Chemistry and Maths at A Level and also achieved 9s in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Spanish. In my UCAT I scored 2890, which was the 92nd percentile. I am a flexible tutor and always keen to make sure students get the time and support they need in preparation for exams. Planning ahead means that my students always know what to expect in each lesson and also makes sure that all the time in the lesson is used for studying.
Looking forward to helping more students get the grades they deserve in their exams 🙂
My teaching style
I like to teach in a systematic way, using visual aids and diagrams to help consolidate information. Active recall is important for exams and I try to encourage that in my lessons. I also like to focus on exam technique as this is often a common pitfall for lots of students. I

My Proudest Achievements
My students have gone on to achieve top grades at both GCSE and A Level, but my proudest moment was helping a student who was getting 4s in Maths get a 7 in her maths test after only 4 lessons together.
