Isabelle
About Me
Hello! My name is Isabelle, and I am currently in my final year studying Graduate-Entry Medicine at the University of Warwick. I also have a 1st class Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Liverpool. I received 4 offers during my application to medical school and achieved a top decile UCAT score of 3020.
I would be happy to assist during any part of the application process, whether that be admissions testing, personal statement, interview preparation or seeking advice on whether medicine is the right path for you. As a graduate-entry medic, I am also knowledgeable about the process of pursing medicine as a second degree and the competitive nature of GEM courses.
I am compassionate, friendly and patient teacher and I am proud to have high academic standards when tutoring students. I am always happy to share my experiences from my journey to medical school, and the tips and tricks I have gathered along the way. I really look forward to being a part of student’s journey to success!
My teaching style
Goal Setting, Learning Strategy and Celebrating Growth are the key components of my approach. I believe it is of utmost importance to set clear learning goals, and understand the learning style of my tutees, so we can achieve excellent results together. Tutoring is a collaborative exercise and I am eager to ensure students feel comfortable and confident in learning new skills, overcoming challenges and growing in academic prowess.
