About Me
Hi, I’m Maryam I’m a 19 year old medical student at UCL and I would love to tutor you.
If you are needing help in anything from GCSE exams to A Level content to UCAT/BMAT to medical applications I would be more than happy to help as I understand how stressful exams and applications are. Having received all medicine interviews at Kings college London, Bristol University, Birmingham University and UCL I believe that my application was strong due to my high A-level and GCSE grades, high UCAT and BMAT scores and strong personal statement. I would be more than willing to pass on my tips and tricks that helped me achieve all this, especially for the UCAT and BMAT, and to help you with whatever it is you are looking to improve whether you are a medical applicant or not. I also have lots of experience with medical interviews (MMIs and panel) therefore would be thrilled to help with your medical interview preparation.
My teaching style
My teaching style is very open and student focused, I tailor my approach to every student and what works best for them by asking students lots of questions and understanding what their goals are and what they would like to gain from our tutoring sessions. All questions are welcomed and I am devoted to ensuring that students realise and reach their full potential.
My past experience
I worked for a year at explore learning centre, tutoring children aged 4-11. While the age range may be different, this job has taught me a lot of useful skills and important lessons when being a tutor.
