About Me
Hi! My name is alana and i’m currently studying LLB LAW! My aim is too help students who, like me, didn’t always understand the way their teacher liked to explain things and wasn’t confident enough to say so. i participate in negotiation competitions as an extracurricular to my degree and enjoy things like art, reading and generally helping others. i was born and raised in newcastle, and adore the city. the school i went too was very set in their ways on the teaching style but i know in myself that it doesn’t work for everyone. i would love too help people achieve their potential in the most comfortable way, without stress or anxiety. my main strong suits are english from early years to a level and i enjoy teaching politics as it was a subject favourite of mine as i had a teacher who could adapt to my learning style and took the time to make sure everyone understood, that is what i want to give back!
My teaching style
my teaching style is very diverse, i am happy to allow the student to guide me to the right way to learn for them. i like to get to know the student themselves in order to do what is best for them to make them feel most comfortable and confident in themselves and their ability.
