12About Me
Hello, I am James, a student at the University of Cambridge, studying Natural Sciences. I specialise in Chemistry. I have just finished my bachelors degree and will begin studying for my masters in October.
I have really enjoyed tutoring over the past 4 years. I offer Maths, Chemistry and Physics tuition for both GCSE and A-Level. I have studied all of these subjects during my degree so have a firm understanding of the material.
I also assist students in their preparation for the Oxbridge admissions process. I have helped with personal statements, admissions test practice and interview preparation.
I enjoy tutoring students of all levels, whether that be helping students to get to grips with core material, or stretching and challenging gifted students.
A-Levels: 4A*s (maths, further maths, physics, chemistry)
GCSEs: 10A*s
My teaching style
Initially, I assess the current level of the student before creating a plan with their input. I adapt my teaching style the individual needs of the student. It is important to me that all my students feel comfortable in lessons and are not afraid to ask questions.
