About Me
Hi there! I’m Milap. I’m a final year medical student at the University of Nottingham. I am originally from Leicester. In my free time, I like to read, work out and cook new recipes.
I achieved 12A*s at GCSE level and 4A*s at A-level. I received 4 offers to study medicine at Nottingham, UCL, Manchester and Birmingham. I have had experience of a range of interview styles.
I have always loved teaching and experience in successfully helping students achieve their grades and offers for the last 5 years. In the past, I have worked as an NCS mentor and a Nottingham Summer school ambassador. These experiences have helped my work closely with students and support their university applications all the way from deciding their subject to preparation for interview.
If you have any questions I would love for you to get in touch!
My teaching style
I keep my student at the centre of my teaching. I make my sessions interactive and engaging to make sure they can get the most out of each and every session. Whether you are just getting started or at the day before your exam or interview, I will tailor my session to help you.
My past experience
Formal teaching within several medical school societies
Vice President of WAMS Nottingham – I have supported many students in making successful applications to medical school.
My Proudest Achievements
Raising over £1000 for a local diabetes charity with my NCS team!
