Hello! π
My name is Anabel. I’m 20 years old and I come from Belfast, NI. I’m currently studying at one of the newest medical schools in the UK at the University of Sunderland. β¨
In my spare time I really love horse-riding and playing tennis, as well as going out with my friends. π΄πΎ
At home I have a Dalmatian dog called Mia, who is absolutely adore! πΆπ₯°
I am really excited to become a tutor and help other students achieve their dreams. I was once in your position too and I understand how hard it was applying for medical school! π©ββοΈ

My teaching style
I definitely believe with the right support and positivity, you can achieve anything you set your mind to. I really like to see the fun side of things in life and I’m always up for a laugh or a ‘wee’ chat every so often just to keep things interesting! In terms of the actual tutoring lessons itself, I aim to focus a lot more on what the student struggles with, instead of what they already feel confident in. As well as this, I always encourage the student to push themselves further with practice questions and active recall – they always say that “practice makes perfect”!
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievement would definitely be getting a place in medical school – it has been a dream of mine for so long! π§¬π¬
Outside of academics, something else I’m really proud of is getting 25 minute ParkRun with my dad! πββοΈπ
