About Me
As a Mechanical Engineering Master’s student with a robust foundation in mathematics, engineering and physics, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the tutoring table. I am predicted to graduate my master’s studies with a 2:1 and achieved grade 7 in GCSE Maths and A in GCSE Physics. I possess a solid understanding of fundamental, intermediate, and advanced mathematics, which has equipped me with the understanding and knowledge required to explain and tutor students who are in need of support. As a 4th year engineering student, I have managed and led a 10-member engineering design team of 2nd year students, which has refined my teaching and mentoring abilities. I excel in breaking down difficult concepts into understandable segments, making learning engaging and accessible no matter your ability. I am patient and understand that concepts which come naturally to some, may not be as such for others and am willing to dedicate the effort to ensure you meet satisfactory academic success.
My teaching style
My teaching style is to break composite concepts down into smaller simpler chunks and then work towards putting these pieces together to understand the concept. I enjoy using visual examples so that students can picture the concepts in their minds.
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievement was achieving three grades 7s, an A*, and four As at GCSE and making it onto the masters of engineering cohort for mechanical engineering at my university.
