Daniella
About Me
Hi! My name is Daniella and I am a graduate in law from UCL. I have a training contract from a top commercial US law firm and I am currently completing my Law Masters and Solicitors Qualifying Exams in 2024.
I have working with an education organisation for 3 years and have helped students get accepted to top universities for law, with a high rate of acceptance to UCL, Kings, LSE and Oxbridge. Having been through the stressful application experience myself, I am happy to listen to and aid with any queries. I can provide specific readings from UCL to help your application stand out, advise on the personal statement, or give tips and do mock exams for the LNAT. My passion for law has continued beyond my studies, as it is also my chosen career path, so I am happy to advise on the different routes into a legal career as well as how you can develop beyond your studies. My experiences through my own journey, as well as my work with students in the past, means that I have the comprehensive skillset to tutor efficiently and help you achieve your goals!
Outside of law, I love to bake, run, read and go to the gym. I also have a cat who I adore 🙂
My teaching style
My teaching style is very flexible and adaptable to your needs. I have worked with students from ages 14 to 19, applying to universities in the UK, the US and the Netherlands, and have successfully adapted my style to match their goals and learning needs. I am happy to help with mock interviews, exam preparation, developing your writing style and anything else you might need.
My past experience
Yes, I started tutoring 6 years ago, helping younger students (ages 7-12) learn English.
Since I started university 3 years ago, I have been working with an educational organisation, holding events for students ages 14-19 who are interested in studying law or working in the legal sector. Through these events, I have extensive experience conducting mock interviews, writing personal statements, preparing for the LNAT, advising on different parts of the legal sector, helping students choose which university would be the best match for their interests, and helping to prepare for A level and IB exams generally.
At university, I also worked as the Vice President and Careers Secretary of the UCL Law Society, which amongst a range of responsibilities, involved being a mentor to my peers and helping them with exams and law firm applications generally,
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest academic and career-related achievements have been getting into my dream university (UCL) to study law, which has always been my passion, and getting a job offer at the number one US law firm during my second year of university.
My proudest personal achievements have been running a half marathon (currently training for my first full marathon), and volunteering at a legal clinic during my studies to help vulnerable people in the UK.
