5About Me
I am an optometry student who has a passion for creating effective and innovative ways to study and successfully pass/ excel in any academic test. I have been tutored myself since the age of 13 and understand how every student is different, the biggest challenge a tutor can face is finding the best teaching style which work for each student. For myself i understand and learn new information by drawing diagrams and annotating pictures. I drew hundreds of mechanisms for my organic chemistry A level!
I understand some students will learn by reading and writing but i will make sure my lessons are engaging and holds my students attention. As a student who asks thousands of questions, i will encourage my students to ask away! I have also sat on interview panels in past jobs i have worked at, i have lots of interview experience. I currently work as an optical assistant at 2 independent opticians local to myself.

My teaching style
i believe that reading over and over again is boring and is not an effective method of studying without application. I teach by using visual diagrams to explain difficult concepts and answering questions together to see how we get the answer, if one student gets it wrong and another gets it right they can work together to get the right answer, at the same time the student is practicing his knowledge by explaining his logic.

My Proudest Achievements
I was 1of 12 ambassadors of the UK for the BCLA (british contact lens association) and was given the chance to present a topic of my choice in front of hundreds of visitors and sponsors, my speech can be found on the BCLA website. I also launched my own watch repair business back in January 2021,
