About Me
I am a Medical graduate with significant postgraduate medical experience, teaching experience, and good familiarity with the UK NHS environment. Teaching is something I truly enjoy, and I always aim to make learning clear, focused, and supportive for every student.
I have helped medical graduates prepare for PLAB exams, NHS interviews, and communication-based assessments, and I have also taught undergraduate students through formal teaching sessions, bedside teaching, and exam-focused support. Several students I have supported have successfully passed exams, cleared interviews, secured jobs, and gained entry into medical programmes.
I have also completed teaching-related training, which has helped me develop a structured approach to teaching. I focus on understanding each student’s level first, then adapting sessions to their needs so that difficult topics become simple and manageable.
Because I am also familiar with competitive medical exams myself, I understand the pressure students face and what is needed to perform well. I place strong focus on concept clarity, medical ethics, communication skills, and exam technique. For interview preparation, I use mock sessions, structured feedback, and repeated practice to improve confidence and answer quality.
I also provide notes and make sure students are tested before their actual exam or interview, so they feel fully prepared. My aim is not only to help students pass, but to help them understand deeply, communicate well, and perform with confidence.
My teaching style
My teaching style is structured, simple, and highly interactive. I believe complex topics should be broken down into clear, easy-to-understand concepts, especially for medical and exam-focused subjects. I use organised slides, concise notes, and exam-oriented frameworks to ensure students not only understand the material but also know how to apply it effectively in exams.
I strongly value two-way feedback. I regularly ask students for feedback to adapt my teaching to their learning style, and I provide constructive, honest feedback to help them improve continuously. I aim to create an approachable and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions without hesitation.
My sessions are interactive rather than lecture-based — I encourage discussion, active recall, and scenario-based learning to build confidence and critical thinking. I offer online sessions with flexible scheduling to suit students’ availability, ensuring consistency and accessibility.
My goal is not just to teach content, but to build confidence, clarity, and exam technique.
My past experience
Yes, I have extensive teaching and tutoring experience. My journey began when I was a student myself, where I supported peers and junior students with their studies. As I graduated and gained clinical exposure, my teaching developed further in both depth and level. Over time, the age group and academic standard of the students I taught continued to grow.
Yes, I have extensive teaching and tutoring experience across different academic levels. My teaching began during my own student years, when I supported classmates and junior students, and it continued to grow alongside my medical training and professional experience.
I have taught school students, university students, nursing students, and adult learners. I have supported candidates preparing for PLAB 1 and PLAB 2, OSCEs, IELTS, OET, and NHS interview preparation. I have also taught undergraduate medical students through formal teaching sessions and worked as an OSCE examiner, which gave me valuable insight into exam expectations and student performance.
My teaching style is structured and supportive. I use mock sessions, feedback, and clear explanations to make sure students understand concepts well and feel confident before their exam or interview.
My Proudest Achievements
One of my proudest achievements is becoming a doctor while continuing to teach and mentor students throughout my journey. Seeing my students excel in exams, secure excellent grades, and grow in confidence brings me immense satisfaction. I am especially proud of helping students improve their communication skills, enabling them to succeed academically, professionally, and personally.
