Sanghya
About Me
Hello, my name is Sanghya and I am currently in my 4th year of Medicine at Newcastle University after successfully completing my GCSEs, UCAT, interviews, A-Levels and my first year exams. The experience itself can be very overwhelming and sometimes it can be valuable to have someone who can guide you and tell you what exactly to work on. This can help you save so much time as well as improving outcomes and allowing you to reach your full potential.
I have a particular affinity for science, which is why I have chosen to tutor these subjects in particular.
After completing the EPQ, I have been involved with even more projects and gained a greater understanding about academic research papers. Therefore, I would be happy to help with any such projects.
Likewise, after re-drafting my personal statement over and over, I have reached an understanding about how they should be written and what to include.
In my experience, medical school interviews seemed daunting as I did not know what to expect. After completing 4 interviews, I now understand how to go about preparing and perform well.
Hopefully, we can work together and make everything easier to understand, save you time and allow you to perform to the best of your ability. If you ever have any queries, I am only a WhatsApp message away. 🙂
My teaching style
When teaching content, I want you to be able to understand it and be able to remember it easily. Therefore, I will often try and reason it out so you understand why things happen and are actively thinking and talking about it as opposed to just listening. This also makes it easier to remember.
However, everyone is different so we can always try different things to find what is best for you.
My past experience
Yes, I have formally tutored Chemistry, English and Spanish as well as helped students with A-Level Maths and Biology.
My Proudest Achievements
I am currently writing questions for Medic Mind for the IMAT Aptitude Test.
Helping to publish a paper in the BMJ.
Receiving 48/50 in my EPQ.
