About Me

I am a third-year history undergraduate at the University of Oxford. I am interested in modern Asian history, political history, social history and postcolonial history. At Oxford, I was involved in student societies at both the university and college levels, such as journalism, diplomacy, welfare, and charity work. I was picked as one of many in the history cohort to lead our College History Society.

I previously studied economics, history, maths, and philosophy for my A-levels, achieving top grades and a Senior Academic Scholarship. I studied Maths, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, History, Religious Studies and French, achieving 9s and 8s in all subjects at St Paul’s School in Barnes. I completed my Common Entrance exams at Wetherby Prep, undertaking History, English, Geography, Maths and Sciences.

My teaching style

I like to be friendly and welcoming to all new students, and I try to inspire them to explore different supra-curricular and interdisciplinary pathways. I look at the student’s abilities and cater past paper questions to their needs.
