Hello, I’m Sophie Charnley, an intelligent, conscientious, and hardworking individual dedicated to providing top-notch online tutoring. I excelled academically, achieving 3 A*s at A level in History, Geography, and Politics, along with 9 A*s and 1A at GCSE level. I graduated with first-class honour’s in History and Politics from the University of Edinburgh and recently earned a distinction in my Master’s PGDL law conversion from the University of Law in London. With extensive interview experience and firsthand knowledge of the Oxbridge application process, I am well-equipped to guide students towards academic success and help them achieve their educational goals. I wish to use my experience to help students in a tailored approach, achieve their potential in a fun and informative learning environment.
My teaching style
My teaching style is tailored to every individual’s needs – taking into account whether an individual learns better through visual, oral or logical learning for example. It is personalized, interactive, and student-centered, designed to cater to the unique needs of each individual. I emphasize a thorough understanding of the subject matter, encouraging critical thinking and active engagement. By creating a supportive and positive learning environment, I aim to build confidence and foster a genuine interest in the subject. I incorporate a variety of teaching methods, including discussions, practical examples, and tailored exercises, to ensure that concepts are not only understood but retained. My goal is to help students develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed academically and beyond.

My proudest achievements are my first class undergraduate degree and completing the London Marathon for Barnardo’s charity in 2022
