Hello, my name is Abdul and I am currently studying Medicine at the University of Cambridge. Last year, I got in the top 2% in my UCAT (3160 Band 1) and 4/4 medicine offers following interview. Having gone through the medicine application journey recently myself, I know how challenging and confusing it can be. However, with the right support and guidance, you can smash the application process and achieve your dream places at the top medical schools in the country. I am looking forward to working with young people, motivating and helping them to reach their goals of becoming doctors. Whether it’s mastering the UCAT, writing the personal statement or securing your offer at the interview, I’m here to provide all my wisdom and knowledge to help you succeed. My teaching style
I adapt my teaching style to best meet each pupil’s needs. I can demonstrate how to answer questions, give feedback and tips on how to improve, as well as motivate the student in their independent work. I am always honest and open with my pupils, to ensure effective communication and so I can help the student as best as possible. I am also always very supportive and encouraging; applying to medicine requires hard work and time, which can be hard to balance alongside A-Level studies. That’s why I make sure my pupils are working as efficiently as possible to get the best outcomes. I am always happy to help and ready to answer any questions.
My past experience
I have experience teaching in maths, french, chemistry, biology and music. I have also tutored students for medicine interviews, with a high success rate.
My Proudest Achievements
I achieved 11 9s at GCSE, 4A*s at A-Level and a medicine offer from Cambridge University. I am proud of these achievements as it was very rewarding to see my hard work pay off in the end.
