About Me
I am a recent first class engineering graduate of the University of Oxford. I have thoroughly enjoyed my academic experience and love helping applicants.
I specialise in the STEM subjects: Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Chemistry, at both GCSE and A-Level. My unique strength lies in preparing students for competitive Oxbridge applications, including interview practice and admissions test support.
I deeply enjoy tutoring as it offers a way for me to inspire young minds and help them get actual results. As well as being able to teach to the highest quality within A level specifications I am also able to prepare lessons looking to learn past the syllabus in preparation for Oxbridge.
In my free time, I am a keen rower. At school I rowed 10 times per week and competed in national championships. I developed this interest into coaching at the New College Boat Club. I also love playing tennis and the violin
My teaching style
I believe in teaching students two things: how to problem solve and how to revise effectively. As well as explaining concepts being a tutor is about teaching a student how to be self sufficient in learning and exam preparation. I encourage the development of healthy exam techniques.
My past experience
I have tutored dozens of students for GCSEs and A levels
