About Me
Greetings! I’m Ajax, a dedicated first-year medical student enrolled at the prestigious University of Buckingham. Originally from Hong Kong, I completed my high school education there, focusing on the A-level curriculum with a strong emphasis on physics, biology, chemistry, and pure mathematics. My hard work paid off, resulting in exceptional academic achievements with 4As. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, I persevered and secured admission to two out of four medical schools I applied to.
My UCAT score, a testament to my analytical prowess, stands at an impressive 2860 band 2, reflecting strong individual scores in various sections: 550 in Verbal Reasoning, 630 in Decision Making, 880 in Quantitative Reasoning, and 800 in Abstract Reasoning, all within the 90th percentile. My affinity for numbers and logical reasoning aligns perfectly with the demands of scientific subjects. Notably, I excel in interviews, securing two offers through my ability to discern and address the interviewers’ expectations effectively. Recognizing the interview as the most challenging yet pivotal aspect of the medical school application process, I am confident in my capacity to guide you towards refining your interview skills and realizing your aspiration of gaining admission to your desired medical school.
My teaching style
My instructional approach is highly facilitative, fostering extensive active engagement and promoting vibrant discussions aimed at cultivating critical thinking skills. Through this dynamic learning process, you’ll grasp the thinking patterns inherent to medical practitioners, enabling you to seamlessly integrate them into your interview techniques. I will guide you in mastering the art of leaving a lasting impression on interviewers, effectively showcasing your aptitude and potential as a future medical professional.
