About Me
Hi! I’m Aman, a 5th year dental student at University of Bristol. I understand that applying to dental school can be daunting and it can feel like an endless slog of personal statement writing, admission test prep and interview prep, as well as having to keep on top of A Level work; it requires a lot of determination! Having done the application process twice myself, meaning I’ve sat many dental school interviews and received competitive scores in the admission tests, I have plenty of experience and handy tips that I can use to help you. I deem myself to be a friendly and enthusiastic individual and I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have regarding any part of the application process, or if you simply just want a chat. I will strive to give you the best advice so you can get started on your dentistry journey!
My teaching style
I believe that one of the most effective ways of teaching is by practicing plenty of exam or interview questions in good time. Doing this allows us to track your progress and cementing your knowledge, but also gives the opportunity to identify any areas where further practice may be needed.
My past experience
I spent 3 years working as a part-time teaching assistant at Kumon, a Mathematics and English tutoring centre, and I volunteered to teach in a school in one of the most deprived areas of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Through these experiences , I have developed and strengthened my communication skills by having to effectively explain concepts to children and young adults.

I scored in the top 20% of the UKCAT and achieved 4/4 dental school offers.
